When you see the transformation of some of our doggies we've rescued from traumatised lives, it really is that little glimmer of hope, that gets you through the constant assault of cruelty to animals that comes across our phone lines and emails.
Harry & Sally lived for months on the streets in the most deplorable conditions you could imagine. People had tried to capture them but they were always to fast and most people couldn't sit there all day trying to catch them. It's also extremely traumatic for them having people chasing them all over the place.
But our team headed out with the thought of just watching them and seeing their movements to see the best way to take the next step. Of course they had our rescue kit loaded in the car in case they were lucky enough to have the opportunity to rescue them.
In a turn of events the one doggie (Sally) wasn't feeling well and the rescue now became urgent because we had to get her to the vet ASAP.

Please support us as we prepare for our 24 hours outdoors with our shelter dogs. The weather is not looking great but many dogs live in the streets abandoned with nowhere to go. They have to experience the rain and cold because humans have failed them. Hi there the name is Marshmallow but the call me Scorsese. They call me marshmallow because I’m squishy and sweet and my love for you will just melt your heart. My life has not been an easy one. No one wants to be dumped as a baby but luckily my mamma Angel and dogtown have been taking great care of me. But it’s time now for me to move ahead, look to the future. I see me exploring in the garden and chilling under a tree. Going for short walks and sitting on the couch with you watching tv. Maybe we could watch some of this Scorsese guy they talk of. Mamma Tracy is a beeeg Scorsese fan and when she saw me she called me Scorsese because my eyebrows remind her of her favourite director.I’ve done a bit of research into this Scorsese fella and it seems he likes to do gangsta movies.
