SAD: 10 Dogs Maul Child!

48 year old poultry famer of Kingo Farms, Allan Banda, has been left rattled after his 13 year old juvenile daughter identified as Sharon Banda died after being bitten by 10 dogs.

The tragic incident occurred today at around 05:00 hours at Kingo farm were Chinese owner identified as Shi Yaming is believed to own the dogs.

Confirming this sad development, Zambia Police Public Relations Officer, Rae Hamoonga has explained that, brief facts of the matter are that today around 05hrs, the now deceased went to the toilet which is outside and whilst there, about 10 dogs pounced on her.

"The dogs included one Germany Shepherd and others where Mongrels", Hamoonga said.

"Sharon was badly bitten and died on the spot as she sustained deep cuts all over her body", Hamoonga reveals .

"Police visited the scene and discovered the dead body of Sharon lying on the ground with multiple dog bites all over the body".

"The body has since been deposited in the University Teaching Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem and burial", Hamoonga further says.

Hamoonga also reveals that, Shi Yaming has been detained for the offence of reckless and negligent act.

"Arrangements have been made with Veterinary officers to go and examine the dogs so as to determine their fate", Hamoonga adds.

BE A RESPONSIBILE DOG OWNER...

As a responsible dog owner you should know that the cute little puppy will one day grow into a big dog. This shouldn't surprise you okay! Just be ready to take up the responsibility of owning a dog. Do not lock up or chain your dog the whole day this might bring out some unwanted behaviour which will put you and yoour family members in trouble (Muzaka kambila kusogolo). Dogs are social animals so if left alone they become vicious and may attack anything that moves including people.

SADDENED OVER THE NEWS THAT CAME IN.

“Two dogs have have mauled to death a 3 year old toddler of lusaka chalala area. The two dogs which belonged to the boys uncle pounced on the child before biting off his ge****ls after they tried to grab the fish he had in his hand”.

What a painful way of losing a child. This is where responsible pet ownership comes in, we all need understand that a dog will always be a dog whether friendly or not, now this was pure negligence! You can never let your child or your friends child play with your dogs not on your watch. This also goes to people that are always inboxing and asking (HOW DO I MAKE MY DOG AGGRESSIVE?) They are only two questions for you! , Are you ready to pay hospital bills? Are you ready to go to jail over your negligence?… please please responsible dog owners watch your kids while they play with your dogs 🙏and please raise dogs you’re able to handle, imagine losing a kid in such a way?! Painful huh! So pull your responsibility up!! Educate that your neighbor over responsible pet ownership, some people actually don’t have access to social media so they unable to keep up with us.
