Blue Sky Gunnas Holly, our lovely American Quarter Horse filly sired by Topsail Gun out of Mountneys lil Hollywood Rascal.

She is coming along so well with her trailing down at Garland Equine in Capetown. She is a long way from us in Zimbabwe, but the time and training is paying off. This little lady has a bright future ahead of her and we can't wait to see her grow and progress.

Zuri is an elegant girl, until she starts playing with her best friend Casanova. Then all the girly charm fades! These two are so adorable to watch, and will spend hours playing and entertaining each other.
I love giving my horses a true herd lifestyle, with all the interaction and friendships that horses crave. It is so important to their welfare and development.

The 'babies' are getting a bit big for this!

I am in a lucky situation to allow the foals to wean naturally this year, and remain in the herd to learn social ques and life lessons from the mares. Whilst they very rarely drink these days, they occasionally suckle a little.

From the pale colour of the iris in his eyes, I’m quite sure he has inherited a dilution gene from his dad.

So he may be a Smokey black, or buckskin leopard. Time (and a DNA sample!) will tell!

Welcome to the world 'Bahari'.

Tammy foaled down to this stunning c**t, sired by our stallion Kondos Ayapitus. He has a huge personality, and is one of the funniest, cheekiest and most playful foals I have ever met.

Bahari means "ocean" in Swahili. For the 2nd year in a row, Tammy aligned the birth of her foal with me being in Zanzibar, where the native language is Swahili. Last year her Luke's Like A Million Foal was names Zuri (Swahili for "Beautiful"), and so it seemed suitable to pick a Swahili name again!

I look forward to bringing you lots of cute photos of this sweetheart.

Introducing the other 2 horses on their way to Zimbabwe. Perdeberg Hi Imvula (mum) and Josephus Dream Estelle.

I fell in love with Imvula in April 2021 when visiting Namibia. At the time she wasn’t for sale, but good things come to those who wait and now she comes to us with an adorable and correct filly foal, sired by champion Namibian stallion Kwando (photos at the end). Beyond excited to have these lovely ladies arrive.

Thanks goes to Joseph's Dream Appaloosa Stud for letting these beautiful horses come to me, and for these photographs. It’s always sad to see horses leave, but we will undoubtedly keep you updated as they form Zimbabwean history

Hunters Hi Starlight out of Hi Definition (Canada) by Hunters Eage’s Nightstar is a beautiful splashy coloured mare standing at 15.1.

Thank you Joseph's Dream Appaloosa Stud for trusting us with this dream horse, and for taking these beautiful photographs. This season she produced the stunning foal Amaya, seen here, who is retained by their stud for their own breeding program. Amaya’s dad is Kondos Lefkos, our own stallions sire, and we can’t wait to see the beautiful foals she produces here in Zimbabwe.

Hunters Hi Starlight has departed Namibia and we are counting down the days until she arrives on Zimbabwewan soil.
