نحتفل اليوم بيوم المرأة الإماراتية، وبمرور خمسين عامًا على تأسيس “الاتحاد النسائي العام” في عام 1975.

ويشرّفنا أن ندعم المرأة الإماراتية في مجال رياضة الفروسية، بما في ذلك الفارسات من أصحاب الهمم اللواتي لا يزلن مصدر إلهام وفخر لنا جميعًا.

✨ Meet Wafaa Aldahmani ✨
A Grade II Para Dressage Rider, Wafaa joined The Royal Stables Para Equestrian Programme in April and has already inspired us with her determination, resilience, and passion for horses.

Born with a physical disability that affects her mobility, Wafaa faced challenges during her early encounters with horses. But with guidance, she discovered the powerful sense of freedom, balance, and connection that riding brings. Today, dressage is not only her sport but her sanctuary — teaching her that true strength lies in the will, not just the body.

Through para dressage, Wafaa continues to challenge herself, embrace new opportunities, and prove that athletes of determination are champions in every sense of the word.

✨ تعرفوا على وفاء الدهماني ✨
فارسة بارا درّساج من الدرجة الثانية، انضمت وفاء في شهر أبريل إلى برنامج تعزيز أداء أصحاب الهمم في رياضة ترويض الخيل في الإسطبلات الأميرية، ومنذ ذلك الحين ألهمتنا بإصرارها، ومرونتها، وشغفها العميق بالخيل.

وُلدت وفاء بإعاقة جسدية تؤثر على قدرتها على الحركة، مما جعل بداياتها مع الخيل مليئة بالتحديات. ولكن من خلال التوجيه والدعم، اكتشفت الإحساس العميق بالحرية والتوازن والترابط الذي تمنحه رياضة الفروسية. واليوم، أصبحت رياضة الدرساج بالنسبة لها ليست مجرد رياضة، بل مصدرًا للسلام الداخلي والتمكين — علمتها أن القوة الحقيقية تنبع من الإرادة، لا من الجسد فقط.

من خلال رياضة ترويض الخيل، تواصل وفاء تحدي ذاتها، واحتضان الفرص الجديدة، وإثبات أن الرياضيين من أصحاب الهمم هم أبطال بكل ما تحمله الكلمة من معنى.

This Welsh wonder may be small in size, but he’s full of presence, heart and patience. With his calm nature and kind temperament, Chester is already proving to be the perfect partner for our para riders.

We’re so excited to have him join the team and support the next chapter of the UAE’s para journey.

From physiotherapy and tailored training to theory sessions and carefully adapted equipment, every detail supports the athlete’s performance, safety, and connection with the horse.

We’re proud to be part of that process, championing Athletes of Determination through our Para Dressage Performance Programme.

Did you know that we offer theory sessions to enable our young riders to complete their Pony Club Achievement badges? A fun an interactive way for our memebers to develop knowledge of horsemanship, these one hour classes run daily at 4 pm, 5 pm and 6 pm.

Meet Devlin, the quirky Dutch pony who keeps our riders on their toes. This 14.2hh black beauty prefers to keep his hooves firmly in the sand and is used for novice and intermediate flatwork classes.

تعرّف على ديفلين، المهر الهولندي المميز بأسلوبه الخاص، والذي يضيف طابعًا من الحيوية على تدريبات فرساننا. يبلغ طوله 14.2 يدًا، ويتميّز بلونه الأسود ، ويميل إلى البقاء على أرضية رملية مستقرة. يُخصّص ديفلين للمشاركة في دروس الفروسية للمستويات المبتدئة والمتوسطة.

5 ways to stay riding-fit through summer, even if you’re travelling and have limited access to a gym:

✅ Resistance band workouts
✅ Yoga or Pilates for core control
✅ Balance drills (try a BOSU ball!)
✅ Swimming for low-impact cardio
✅ Stretching to stay supple

Another Spanish beauty, 15.3hh grey gelding Cardeno arrived from Spain last year. With flashy and expressive movements, he recently performed at the End of Season awards ceremony in the ‘Pas de Deux’. With his continued training, we expect him to join the Advanced classes next season and potentially head to a few dressage competitions!

كاردينو، حصان رمادي يبلغ ارتفاعه 15.3 يد، جاء من إسبانيا العام الماضي حاملاً معه روح التميز والحضور اللافت. يتمتع بحركات معبّرة ومتقنة، وشارك مؤخرًا في عرض “باس دو دو” (رقصة الفروسية الثنائية) ضمن حفل ختام الموسم. وبفضل تطوره المستمر في التدريب، نتطلع لرؤيته قريبًا ضمن الفئات المتقدمة، وربما في بعض بطولات الترويض أيضًا.
