Happy News! Mona is officially rfor Germany! She left The Barking Lot in Dubai and joined us in Abu Dhabi before moving to her foster home with Luz. This will help her adjust to a home environment before she flies to her forever family. Vet Dagmar in Germany was looking for a small-sized hound girl, and we knew Mona would be the perfect match. To ensure she was in top health, we took her to Dr. AJ for a PCV and pre-anesthetic blood test. Since she had previously tested positive for E. canis, we wanted to be extra sure—and we’re happy to share that Mona is perfectly healthy! Dagmar was thrilled to welcome Mona into her home and even happier when she received her full health report. Now, all Mona needs is a flight to Frankfurt, preferably on Lufthansa. 🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED 🚨 We named her ROSA 🤎🖤 This beautiful black hound girl was found straying for over a week before we could finally rescue her with the support of our incredible team. Here’s what we know: • No microchip – no one was looking for her. • Severely anemic – Her red blood count (PCV) is at 28%. • Tested negative for 4DX – no tick-borne diseases. But we still are medicating her • Weighs only 16.5 kg – underweight for her frame. • Young – estimated to be around 1 to 1.5 years old. • Sweet, gentle, and calm – just wants love and care. • Vaccinated – DHPPiL, rabies, and kennel cough. • Dewormed and de-ticked – but her skin is in terrible shape due to malnutrition and dehydration. • Skin was Tested for fungal infections – thankfully, she is clear. But her skin and coat are in very poor condition, with severe flakiness and multiple bald patches. • On doxycycline antibiotic course to make sure she is on the right path of recovery. This girl needs to eat, rest, and regain her health before we can spay her. It breaks our hearts to send her to the Saluki Lounge when we are already beyond capacity. She needs a home, not a kennel. She can be fostered alone or with other dogs. She is cat-friendly and can be tested further if needed. 💔 We are desperate for help.
