Animalia had the great pleasure of teaming up with Ladder Up, a wonderful organization whose mission is to provide individuals with the guidance, tools, and knowledge they need to lead fulfilling lives and excel in their professional pursuits. In this module, students learned about animal welfare and explored how we can work together to support the animals in our communities. All the students showed genuine compassion and absolute love for animals. Many shared their own encounters with community cats in Abu Dhabi, and together we discussed practical ways to help them, such as providing food, water, and a safe and inclusive environment. Students also learned about the importance of a well-managed Trap, Neuter, and Return (TNR) program, as well as the necessity of vaccinations to keep our community cats healthy. We believe education is paramount to improve animal welfare - such young minds and big hearts will change the future. We believe too that Abu Dhabi, the UAE has the potential to be a global lead in animal welfare with such animal loving , empathetic and compassionate children.
