📢 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 📢

Hello to any cat lovers living around the Gate and Arc community on Reem Island 😻 👋

We are asking if anyone on here would like to join our volunteer cat feeding group for the official feeding stations around Gate and Arc Towers to help with the rota. Food and water to be provided by you, please.

You can commit to once or twice a month - or more if you like!

Please message if you’re interested in helping us with the rota or once off 🙏

We also TNR our community cats so if anyone would like to help with that, we look forward to hearing from you.

🖤 Remembering Ziggy 🖤

Whenever we have hard news to share, we take our time to process it first, then gather the strength and courage to update our loyal supporters.

Our hearts are heavy as we remember Ziggy who sadly passed away in December - he was taken from us too soon by the awful disease called parvo. 💔

Ziggy was a little fighter, full of curiosity and spirit despite his small size. He brought so much light and love to our lives, even in the short time we had together. Ziggy made every moment magical. ✨

Parvo is a cruel disease, and it breaks our hearts that Ziggy couldn’t overcome it. But we find comfort in knowing that his time with his rescuer (who then fostered him) was filled with love, warmth, and care. ❤️

Rest easy, sweet Ziggy. You’ll forever be in our hearts. 🐾🌈

🎉 ADOPTION SUCCESS STORY 🎉

Welcome home, Lexi! 🐾🇬🇧

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that after so much anticipation, and many months of posting, Lexi finally found her forever home in the UK! 🏡✨

Lexi’s journey has been one of patience, hope, and love. Her rescuer, which was also her foster, ultimately saved Lexi’s life and nurtured her to full health and set her up for a great future. Thank you for having the biggest, kindest heart ❤️

Now Lexi has a wonderful forever family and enjoys playing, watching TV, destroying boxes, snuggling and she also saw snow for the first time! ❄️

You deserve the best life, Lexi. 💕 Lots of love x

🌟 Sharing on behalf of our great friends at 🌟

Mandy is up for adoption 🐱

Located in the UAE - ready to fly ✈️

Our girl Mandy has been through so much and yet she’s a sweetheart.

She was rescued not far from our apartment and it was clear she’d been run over by a car. She was dragging her legs and in pain.

She had surgery in her hip and we nursed her back to health. It took about 2 months of therapy for her to walk again. Now she runs and walks and jumps to certain heights ok. But she’s a little skittish from what happened to her.

Once she trusts you though you can rub her head and back and she actually loves the fuss - esp to greet you when you come home from work.

She loves company and she also has a love of cartoons on the TV. She also loves the balcony and is very playful!

We hope there is someone out there who can give her all the love she deserves - she’s a sweet girl who just needs patience and love ❤️

😺 born Dec 2022
😺 spayed/vaccinated/micrcochipped
😺 indoor only / catio / secure balcony
😺 would suit only cat in home or to be added to very a chilled existing cat/dog

🎆✨ Happy New Year 2025! ✨🎆

We’re a week into the new year, and our hearts are full of gratitude for the incredible community of rescuers, volunteers, fosters, and adopters who work tirelessly to make the UAE a kinder place for our beloved street cats. 🐾💖

To every street cat out there, may 2025 bring you warmth, safety, and love. 🌟 May you find shelter from the elements, food in your belly, and the gentle touch of kind-hearted souls who care for you. We truly wish we could help or rehome you all.

To the unsung heroes—those who rescue, feed, foster, and find loving homes for these precious lives—thank you for your unwavering dedication and compassion. You are the reason so many tails wag and so many purrs are heard. 🐈 Thank you to those who support, advocate, donate and more… 🙏

While we know we can’t save every cat, we remain committed to making a difference for as many as we can. Every small act of kindness matters, and together, we can create a ripple effect of change. 🌊💫

We also step into the new year with hope for positive legislative changes that will protect and support animal welfare. Let’s continue to advocate, educate, and strive for a better future for all street animals. 🐾✍️

Here’s to another year of doing our best, spreading love, and inspiring change—one paw at a time. Wishing everyone a year filled with joy, health, and countless happy moments with your furry friends. 🥂🐾✨

NEW RESCUE 🐱

Hi 👋 Still here. Still helping our feline friends in need. Still dreaming of a better future for cats here…

Until then, please meet Ziggy! 🐾

This little 10 week old cutie was found dragging his back legs and needed some urgent vet care.

We aren’t 100% sure what happened to him, but thanks to his dedicated care team, and the wonderful Dr Ahmed from .ae , Ziggy is slowly regaining strength and using his legs more every day! 💪

Today, Ziggy moved into foster care with his wonderful rescuer, where he’ll continue his recovery with lots of love, care, and the necessary physiotherapy he needs. His foster will no doubt fatten him up and get him ready for his next foster who will help at the end of the month.

We’re so proud of how far Ziggy has come, and we can’t wait to see him grow stronger and more playful every day. 💖

Stay tuned for more updates on his journey!

Dear residents and cat lovers
😺IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING CAT FEEDING STATIONS😸

It is such a privilege to have our cat feeding stations around The Gate and Arc community.
Over the years, we have rallied hard for our furry residents and have worked together with Provis management to have the stations installed and kept running. They have been a success and an encouragement for other communities to follow suit.

Unfortunately, these stations are under threat due to feeding in inappropriate places such as car parks, leaving litter and food, which is attracting pests. Not only is the litter left behind unsightly and encourages pests, but it is also highly dangerous for our kitty residents who are likely to get into accidents.

After a lengthy conversation with Provis management, they have advised that residents feeding in car parks (they are able to identify residents via the cameras), verbal warnings may no longer be enough to discourage this feeding and they are within their rights to start fining people.

Please avoid feeding in car parks, we appreciate the care towards the cats (especially those who are escaping the heat), but these cats do come outside and will do to find food.

Please please refrain from feeding anywhere else that isn't the cat stations. It would be such a shame for this initiative to be taken away.

To know more about the locations of the feeding stations please feel free to reach out via DM

Thank you in advance.

KITTEN UP FOR ADOPTION 🐱

Meet Houdini, an adorable little kitten who’s as charming as his name suggests! This clever guy was discovered all alone, hiding behind car tires in an indoor parking garage. He would only emerge for kind souls who offered him a meal, quickly earning his name for his expert hide-and-seek skills.

One of our caring volunteers rescued him from danger and has helped him ever since.

Now, Houdini is ready for a loving home! This playful, energetic, and affectionate little guy is full of curiosity and absolutely loves human company. He’ll quickly win you over with his playful antics and sweet nature.

🐱 Approx. 6 months old.
🐱 Vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.
🐱 Best suited for an indoor home with a secure garden or patio.
🐱 Not yet tested with dogs or children but should adjust well with slow introductions.
🐱 Currently in Abu Dhabi but ready to travel internationally.

If you’re interested in giving Houdini the loving home he deserves, please reach out to or us! ❤️
