Muzzles: super controversial for some reason. Personally we love them. Better safe than sorry and you cannot predict the future. Even sweet adorable Gypsy might snap if she's in enough pain.
Muzzle training is pretty simple. We're trying to create a happy positive experience around the muzzle. Bobby loves putting his nose into the muzzle and he gets so excited to see it. All this was created with lots and lots of food rewards.
Start by showing your pup the muzzle and giving a treat. Then start by putting treats inside the muzzle and having your pup eat the treats from inside. It js important the pup is putting their nose in, and we're not moving the muzzle towards them. Then we start asking then to out their nose in and reward them afterwards. Your marker skills will come in handy here.

She is having a false pregnancy! Otherwise known as pseudopregnancy or phantom pregnancy. Essentially, your pup feels like she is pregnant but isn't. We've seen 6 cases this year alone. If you suspect a false pregnancy then speak to a trusted vet. They can provide medication to bring it to an end and then look at spaying as once a dog has had one false pregnancy they tend to have more. Spaying mid-false pregnancy can cause behavioural problems though, so much better to wait until its over.
