IT’S THAT SIMPLE. NO EXCUSES ❌

We are so sick and tired of our inbox and social feed right now. So tired of people failing the animals they made a commitment to.

You think we don’t have heavy hearts? Think we can afford to pay for the animal you’re leaving behind? Think we don’t have emergencies and situations out of our control? 😡

Imagine being responsible for hundreds of lives, not just one or two…

If you’re not willing to make life decisions or take precautions that keep you and your pet together, no matter what happens, then don’t get a pet at all ❌

It’s ok, not everyone can have animals, not everyone’s circumstances allow for that. Not everyone has the resources or stability to ensure they can relocate them when the time comes (because guess what, most of us will relocate at some point and sometimes it won’t be planned…)

So foster. Volunteer. Do good and get your dog or cat cuddles that way.

Because the animal that you leave behind doesn’t understand your excuses or the things you tell yourself to convince yourself there was ‘no other option’.

All they know is they love you, you make them feel safe. And when you leave them behind, they shut down, they’re confused and their hearts break 😞

So if you are committed to forever, adopt. If you can offer a home for now, foster. If you can’t have pets at home, volunteer. If you can’t do any of those things but want to make a difference, share and support.

But please, do not fail them. Do not break their hearts. Do not go back on your commitment. Because they will love you unconditionally every day for the rest of their lives 💔

🇫🇷 Son histoire : Enfermée dans une maison sombre avec sa compagne féline d’infortune, affamées, sans eau, et sans savoir quand viendra le prochain repas. C'est la réalité qu'ont vécue Cheyenne et une ch**te, Billie également à l’adoption, abandonnées à leur sort par leurs propriétaires drogués et négligents.
Ces deux animaux ont été découverts dans une maison insalubre, enfermés pendant des jours lorsque leur propriétaire, perdu dans son addiction, disparaissait sans laisser de trace. Un voisin au grand cœur les nourrissait tant bien que mal par une fenêtre entrouverte, mais il savait que cela ne suffirait pas. Ce voisin courageux a alerté la SPA et la police, mais malgré ses appels à l'aide, personne n'a pu intervenir efficacement pour sauver ces deux vies précieuses.
Face à cette situation intolérable, notre association a pris les choses en main. Nous avons réussi à récupérer ces animaux et à faire signer un acte de cession par le propriétaire, soulagé de s'en débarrasser.

🇫🇷Sa personnalité : Cheyenne est une gentille chienne, mais un peu timide au départ. Une fois en confiance, elle est très proche de l’humain, a besoin de caresses et de savoir que son humain l'aime. Cheyenne est énergique et a besoin de se dépenser. De longues balades et parties de jeux sont à prévoir. Cette petite chienne espiègle est plutôt obéissante.

Sa famille idéale : une famille qui saura compléter son éducation avec attention et patience et lui donner de l’amour. Le Staffie peut vivre en appartement, à condition de faire des sorties et des activités quotidiennes.

Le Staffordshire terrier américain : dans la vie de tous les jours, l’American Staffordshire Terrier est un excellent chien de compagnie à condition de l’avoir éduqué correctement. Il se montre alors doux, tendre, affectueux avec son propriétaire. Il se montre patient et réceptif. Il est également doté d’une grande intelligence.

🇬🇧 Her story: Locked in a dark house with her feline companion in misfortune, hungry, without water, and without knowing when the next meal will come. This is the reality experienced by Cheyenne and a cat, Billie, also up for adoption, abandoned to their fate by their drugged and neglectful owners.
These two animals were discovered in an unsanitary house, locked up for days when their owner, lost in his addiction, disappeared without a trace. A kind-hearted neighbor fed them as best he could through a half-open window, but he knew it wouldn't be enough. This courageous neighbor alerted the SPA and the police, but despite his calls for help, no one was able to intervene effectively to save these two precious lives.
Faced with this intolerable situation, our association took matters into its own hands. We managed to recover these animals and have the owner sign a transfer deed, relieved to get rid of them.

Her personality: Cheyenne is a nice dog, but a little shy at first. Once confident, she is very close to humans, needs cuddles and to know that her human loves her. Cheyenne is energetic and needs to exercise. Long walks and games are to be expected. This mischievous little dog is rather obedient.

Rome is a great cat that loves adventures. Her rescuer thinks that Rome is the kind of a cat that would love to go in trips with her human family.

🇫🇷Son histoire : Rome a été capturée pour être stérilisée mais on a découvert qu'elle était trop malade pour être relâchée. Il lui a fallu plusieurs mois pour se rétablir de la malnutrition. Aujourd’hui elle est prête à vivre sa meilleure vie.

Sa personnalité : Rome est une chatonne joyeuse qui aime les gens, ses amis chats et la nourriture. Rome est une grande grimpeuse et adore observer les insectes et les oiseaux dans le jardin. Rome est une ch**te géniale qui aime les aventures. Sa sauveuteuse pense que Rome est le genre de chat qui adorerait partir en voyage avec sa famille humaine.
