Downtime is SO important at daycare ✨ It can’t be GO GO GO! We tend to take a unique and more organic approach and spend our afternoons creating downtime by changing the energy of the room to one that’s a little more calm and quiet. Today was reading day ✨ you can see the energy immediately shift within minutes while allowing the pups to stay social. It’s the small things ✨🩵 Some daycares rotate their pups into kennels for the afternoon - which we dont agree with as it’s the lazy thing to do, and somewhat anti-social. Two years ago when we setup SPOT!, we did so out of frustration with the level and cost of doggie care in the region. We set out to build an experience for pet owners that would go on to set the benchmark for care, customer experience and value for money in the region. On the back of our five locations in New York City, Spot has landed in Dubai to continue to build upon our legacy, as the highest standard of pet daycare, boarding, training and grooming. We aim to build a number of conveniently located pet daycare, boarding and grooming centers across the UAE over the coming years.

The Big Stuff

We are incredibly blessed to be in the space we are in, allowing for fun experiences both indoors and out!

We have a play area for everyone: Our facility boasts seven indoor play areas to ensure your furry one receives the bespoke attention they deserve. Seven indoor play areas allow us to break up playgroups by size, age, temperament and energy levels to ensure your furry one has as much fun as they possible can during their time with us!

Taking the fun outdoors: The fun isn’t limited to the indoors. Our facility has a substantial outdoor play area, allowing for a ton of frolicking about in the grass and sun on a cool Dubai afternoon! All of our daycare and boarding members will follow a schedule, which allows for playtime both indoors, and in the fresh outdoors everyday!

Limits: We have set an artificial upper limit (substantially lower than the building capacity limit) on the number of customers we will take in on any given day, to ensure that every single guest gets the adequate attention to their socialization and wellness goals.

The Small Stuff

We have left no stone unturned in ensuring we maximize the social and physical well being of every one of our daycare and boarding customers.

Like Family: We want to become an extended part of your family here in Dubai, so our model is built to do just that. Here are some examples of how we bring this to life:

We don’t do late fees: We get sometimes things come up, or traffic on SZR is horrendous. Like you would with a family member, just call or text and let us know – we’ll figure it out.

We don’t do peak pricing: For family, there is no peak season or low season. It doesn’t cost us more to provide the best care for your furry one in December than it does in April, so why should it cost you more? Family doesn’t take advantage of family.

We don’t do assessment fees: Why would we ask you to pay us to get to know us? Family doesn’t do that!

We are open 24/7: We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We got your back for whatever you need!

Fair Value-Based Pricing: We are parents of two and four legged children alike and know how much quality education and care costs. Our pricing reflects what we believe the highest quality of pet wellness and care should cost, without significantly denting the wallet. We don’t like price gauging our members and therefore have priced ourselves to ensure we are an easy decision! Our hope is, this translates to more social and wellness time for your furry loved one!

My Aching Paws: There really is only one type of flooring that every facility should have, and we have covered our entire facility with it to ensure wherever our members are, their paws can grip to the ground when wrestling, running or romping!

Water! Water!: Ever wondered why your furry one comes home from a day at daycare and guzzles down his water bowl? We wont get into the details but all of our play areas and boarding suites have fresh water fountains because we believe if humans need fresh water – so do our furry ones!

A team of LOVE!: The Spot! Team represents the best of the best from American and Canadian pet daycare and boarding centers along with pet care centers here in Dubai including My Second Home, Dogwalk and Petstation! This team is driven (and to some degree, obsessed!) by one thing – how do we give our furry friends the best social experience when they are in their home away from home, and how can we slowly become a part of their extended family.

Fun Fact: Each one of our team members from our drivers and kennel handlers to our Founders have an equity stake in the company (making them all, partial owners) and therefore, are incentivized by nothing but to make your family’s experience, the absolute best!
