Celebrating today? Here are some tips for your pet! ❤️

1- Keep Your Pet Safe: The best way to protect your pet during fireworks is by keeping them indoors. This prevents them from running away in fear and ensures they stay secure.

2- Block Noise and Light: Close windows, blinds, and curtains to minimize both the noise and the flashing lights from fireworks. You can also use a white noise machine or calming music to help drown out the sounds.

3- Offer a Safe Place: Create a quiet, comfortable space for your pet, such as a spare bathroom. This provides a sense of security and a refuge from the loud and unpredictable environment outside.

4- Make It Fun: Distract your pet with their favourite toys, treats, or even a new enrichment toy to keep their mind engaged and divert their attention from the fireworks.

To further reduce stress, consider using calming remedies like anxiety wraps or calming sprays. Also, stay calm yourself and comfort your pet with gentle petting and a soothing voice. Your reassurance can help them feel more at ease during the fireworks.
