PARA UAE - Protection of Animal Rights Association Furrballs vision is to be the regional leader in placing dogs and cats in qualified adoptive homes. Furrballs is a self funded animal welfare entity.

We strive to build a modern facility; that enables us to expand our rescue and adoption, community outreach and education services. The organization is dedicated to improve the lives of animals in our community and beyond. We promote responsible pet guardianship, the humane treatment of animals and work towards ending animal overpopulation; through education and a variety of programs. We take pride in what we do working to keep homeless pets safe, happy and sheltered.

Freya’s first 8 months of life were spent tied to a pole outdoors. No comfort, no freedom—just isolation and fear. 💔
Thanks to the kind-hearted team at and their volunteers, she was saved from ending up in the wrong hands and brought safely to us.

When she arrived, she was terrified and defensive. We took things very slow—no pressure, just patience. And guess what? In just a few days, Freya is already starting to shine ✨

She’s still building her confidence and learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. She’s not ready for foster or adoption just yet—but we know that with the right love and time, she will blossom into the most loyal and loving companion.

Melody was found wandering outside our clinic, , dirty and unclaimed. With help from the amazing community, we tried everything to find her owners, but sadly, no one came forward, and she isn’t microchipped.

We cleaned her up, vaccinated her, and gave her the care she needed. She’s a soft-hearted sweetheart who adores her stuffed toys, belly rubs, and cuddles. She carries her toys everywhere and charms everyone she meets 💛

We may not know her past, but we’re determined to give her the future she deserves a loving, forever home 🏡

🚗 *URGENT – DOG TRANSPORT NEEDED THIS SATURDAY (05.07.)* 🐶
We are looking for a driver available all day this Saturday to help us transport rescue dogs to and from our *Adoption Day* event!

📍 Pickups: Multiple locations across *Dubai & Sharjah*
🕑 Arrival at event: All dogs must be at the venue by *2:30 PM* (event starts at 3 PM)
⏰ Return trips: *After 6 PM*

We're ideally hoping that:
• Someone working for a daycare or boarding facility might be able to check with their management about using a dog-friendly company bus/van on their day off.
• OR, if you're an individual with a large car or SUV that can comfortably transport multiple dogs, we'd love to hear from you too!

We understand it's a long shot, especially during the busy season — but we're hopeful someone out there can help 🐾
💰 Compensation will be provided.

Personality: Good wit other dogs of all sizes, active and playful, still a little skittish at the start but warms up, not yet tested with cats

Dave came to us through no fault of his own. His previous owner unfortunately did not have enough time for the little boy anymore and so he joined our Furrballs family.
He is currently in foster care, had a full groom which he thoroughly enjoyed, and is spending his time winding up the senior American Bully of the home. They are having a great time together and while Dave might be little, he certainly is not worried about the size of his new friend.
Dave is a lovely small dog, fully grown now, he likes to follow you around and doesn’t want to miss out on anything, perfect little companion to go through thick and thin with.
All he will need is a little time to built up his confidence and trust as he settles into his now life but once you have his heart, he won’t let go of it.

DEBORAH – UPDATE ON OUR TAILLESS QUEEN 🐾

You might remember Deborah, our sweet tailless girl we rescued back in January after neighbors were about to call Sharjah Municipality. With one call and a lot of heart, our team acted fast—she was saved just in time and brought into the Furrballs family. 💛

Fast forward a few months… and wow, what a transformation. 🙌
Deborah is now in a loving foster home, and she has truly blossomed. She’s the ultimate nanny dog—gentle, calm, and amazing with kids, including children with special needs.

She ticks every single box:
✅ House-trained
✅ Walks beautifully on leash
✅ Amazing recall
✅ Loves adventures in the desert
✅ Cuddly, loyal, and just wants to belong

Despite everything she’s been through (yes, even having her tail cruelly chopped off), Deborah continues to be one of the sweetest, most balanced dogs we’ve ever rescued.

But here’s the urgent part: her foster family is traveling soon and may no longer be able to keep her. Through no fault of her own, she’s at risk of losing the only home she’s ever known.

So we’re calling on our community—again—to help us find Deborah her true forever home, or at least a new foster home to keep her safe and loved.

This girl deserves so much more than uncertainty. She’s ready to give her whole heart to the family that says yes.

Our Furrballs Cats team received an urgent message about a dog in need back in January. The neighbors were on the brink of calling Sharjah Municipality, leaving her fate uncertain. Knowing what lay ahead and the slim chances she faced, we made the heartfelt decision to welcome her into the Furrballs family. ❤️

Luckily for Deborah, she wasn’t far from one of our homes. With the swift help of one of our incredible volunteers, we rescued her and brought her to safety.

Deborah is a sweet, young girl with a heart full of love. Although she’s missing her tail—it appears it was chopped off—she remains as beautiful and affectionate as any pup could be. 🐾

She gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and is surprisingly well-behaved for a dog with her past. While Deborah still needs to learn the basics, we’re confident she’ll pick them up in no time!

🍪 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR COOKIE 🍪
This sweet soul has spent most of her young life in a loving foster home—safe, cared for, and surrounded by warmth. But now, through no fault of her own… her time there has come to an end.

We’re heartbroken. Because Cookie doesn’t understand what’s happening.
She only knows that the comfort she once had is slipping away.

Cookie is gentle. Sensitive. A little unsure of the world. She just needs someone to remind her that she’s still worthy of love—that she still has a place to belong.

She’s not a handful. She’s not broken. She just needs a soft voice, a gentle hand, and a safe corner to rest her head.

Please… we’re urgently looking for a foster home for Cookie before she loses everything she’s come to know.
