It is not uncommon for inexperienced dog owners or handlers to misinterpret a dog's behaviour. Did you know that a dog licking their lips doesn't necessarily mean they are licking the remains of a dog treat, it can also mean they are anxious? Also yawning, if a dog is yawning when it's not nap or sleep time is also an indication they maybe fearful of anxious. Take a look below and learn a little more about your dog's possible behaviour and then you will be better informed on how to respond to them :)

Thanks for sharing your recent experiences and sharing to others that each experience with your dog is different, as we all know each dog is different and therefore our tailored support and training packages can work wonders. Of course it doesn’t stop with us, once your dog is back home you can continue the work that our amazing team have started. Never underestimate the abilities of any dog, including your own. You have a smart creature living with you, their abilities, intelligence, and emotional connections have no known limits. Never give up on them, as they would definitely not give up on you. If you have not reached the right connection or communication with your dog, allow us to do that for you. We often get asked can you have more than one dog trained in a family. Particularly around feeding and treat times. Here you can see Neil and Amanda’s own dogs at home demonstrating with Amanda how some simple cues, Sit and Wait in this case can create a calm and more importantly controlled environment. Two of their Retrievers are highly food driven so this was a necessity to avoid unnecessary conflict between the dogs. The first of our Doggy Beach Trips "Add-On's" done this morning with the delightful Aura. Her time to experience the sea. We are in a unique situation that we can offer beach trips whilst your dog boards with us. We have a "Secret Beach" ha ha! An additional cost applies and as you can see it's a wonderful experience for any dog, you will receive photos updates to your account in our online portal and a memorable video just like Aura's here. If you wish to add a beach trip to a current booking, let us know otherwise select Beach Trip in the Add On's when requesting a booking. Available from October to April only due to the weather of course.

A family run business with Amanda, Neil & Scott Anderson in the heart of Ras al Khaimah together with their awesome team from Sri Lanka! Dog Kennels and Cattery. We are not an inner-city warehouse type kennel facility! We are built in a European style format. Three sized, air conditioned kennels available each with their own outside run area, all dogs get walked twice daily or have playtime with other dogs staying. We have a grass garden and the largest outdoor run areas of a private kennels in the UAE for outside fun all year around, including playtime until 9pm at night in the summer months. Two indoor play areas for both socialisation and training to even include a doggy ball pit.
