How much movement does your horse get?

The link between wild horses and domestic horses is often spoken about, with research showing the socialisation of domestic horses still replicates that of the wild horse when given the opportunity.

However the average movement of a domestic horse is often limited greatly compared to their feral counterparts. As owners it is our responsibility to ensure we are doing the best that we can to give the best for our horses, including access to a socially rich environment, natural forage and the ability to move.

Our riding school is academic styled, having levels and goals based on knowledge and riding skills that go beyond basic riding abilities.

Each level comes with a guide book with all the information needed to help you along the way. Each lesson is private and includes classroom sessions to further your equine knowledge and review your past rides to help you evaluate your skills.

Horses in the wild don't have a lead stallion? The leader of the herd is usually an older mare.

While the herd will usually only have one stallion, his main job is protection and reproduction.

It is a common misconception that the stallion is the leader of his herd and while he is in charge of fighting off other stallions and predators the lead mare is the one who actually leads the herd where they need to go.

With two 'Paddock Paradise' track systems we offer a distinctive livery experience for our clients.

Our 'small' track is 300m and is suited best for slower, older or more relaxed horses whom wish to simply enjoy their time with a herd.

Our 'big' track is 700m and is suited best for active, energetic horses or simply a horse who enjoys having lots of space but still wants to be out in a herd environment.

For those horses whom want to go out but are not suited to track life we have several singular paddocks with enrichments too.
