Village Fresh Farm despite adverse weather conditions is pleased to report the employment of 166 people on various construction projects during the month of January. This is an incredible achievement and we honored to be able to provide such opportunities for the people of our beloved country.

Village Fresh Farm is making incredible progress on the construction of our first twelve broiler breeder houses.

With construction nearing completion on the first four sheds we are preparing for the fit-out of machinery and equipment.

This is a very exciting time for us and for the development of poultry farming in Afghanistan, and is one we want to share with you.

Village Fresh Farm continues to make excellent progress towards the construction of our hatchery complex.

With the roof and floor complete, we are starting work on the exterior block-work within internal construction scheduled for the coming weeks.

The hatchery once complete is going significantly contribute to the supply of ‘Day old Chicks’ (DoC) in Kabul Province and reduce our reliance upon other countries for supply.

Village Fresh Farm would like to share the progress we have made on the construction of our broiler farm located in Kabul Province.

With five broiler houses currently under various stages of construction and with capacity for a further seven houses on the farm. We will prove to be the largest provider of broiler (meat) chickens in Afghanistan.

Each house measures 113 meters long x 12 meters wide and will hold over 25,000 broiler chickens in an environmentally controlled condition.

With access to fresh water and feed, natural light and ventilation our chickens are free to roam around the broiler house on deep litter open floors.

Once operational we will contribute significantly to the poultry value chain in Afghanistan and more importantly towards food security for our great nation.

Working towards the development of longstanding relations with our neighbors through our community improvement program, we aim to positively impact on the lives of everyone we meet and have dealings with.

Village Fresh Farm maintains our current upward trend with the employment of 144 people during the month of December.

Employed over 3 projects sites we continue to make excellent progress in the construction of our broiler breeder and broiler farms together with our hatchery.

We look forward to making a significant contribution to the poultry value chain during the upcoming year.

Village Fresh Farm celebrates marking the foundations on our twelfth broiler breeder house. We currently have eleven other houses at various degrees of construction the first four of which will be completed early next year.

Village Fresh Farm is pleased to report good progress towards the leveling and grading of the land for our first two broiler houses. The farm will accommodate twelve houses in total and at full capacity will produce over 300,000 meat birds per cycle.

Village Fresh Farm continues with our local community improvement program with the construction of an irrigation channel to support local farmers neighbouring our hatchery complex. Working with our community we aim to provide for our future generations.

Village Fresh Farm is in the midst of constructing the ring beam for our 72 meter long hatchery building.

Once complete the hatchery will house 8 setters and hatchers in a climate controlled environment and will the largest of its kind in Afghanistan.

The hatchery at full production will produce on average 16,000,000 chicks per year to be grown into meat birds by our local farmers.

We are proud to be part of the poultry sector in our great country and we look forward to being able to provide sustainable food security for our future growth.

EW Nutrition is leading experts in the production of feed additives which are all naturally produced and provide curative and preventive properties for the treatment of disease in animals.
