Happy 13th Birthday & Gotcha Day to our beloved Ulka! 😍

13 years ago today, this sweet soul came into our lives and nothing has been the same since.
She’s been with us through everything, and today we celebrate not just her age, but the day our hearts grew bigger 🫶

Ulka is 13 and still full of energy, love, and playfulness.
She’s forever young at heart.
We feel incredibly lucky to have shared all these years with her and we hope for many more!

Happy Gotcha Day, Ulka. You are our joy, our teacher, and our heart.

Today, with a heavy heart, we had to say goodbye to our sweet Mayka. She was with us for two years, waiting for a family, but in the end, she had already found one—with us ❤️.

She was full of love, always ready for an adventure, and had a spirit that touched everyone she met. Even when life wasn’t always kind to her, she never stopped smiling.

Unfortunately, Mayka was diagnosed with advanced carcinoma, a malignant tumor that had spread. We gave her all the love and care she deserved until her very last breath.

To everyone who met her, cared for her, and followed her journey—thank you 🥹. Mayka may be gone, but she will never be forgotten. Run free, our sweet girl 🫶😔

🐾 NEW FOSTER DOG !

Yesterday, on March 10th, we welcomed a special foster dog into our home – Morena. She was one of the many dogs caught for the Spay and Neuter Program in Durrës, organized by in collaboration with .ch . When we saw her, we noticed how much she resembled Dea, one of the sweetest dogs we’ve ever had, who passed away almost two years ago. Not only does she look like Dea, but she also shares so many of her behaviors—it felt like fate to give her a chance!

So, we decided to foster Morena, rehabilitate her, and help her find the perfect forever home. 🐾❤️

Nese i duam qente tane, do t’i permbushim nevojat fizike dhe psikologjike qe ata kane nevoje, çdo dite te jetes.

Nese i duam qente tane, do t’i krijojme rregulla, kufij dhe disipline ne menyre qe ata te dijne si te “eksplorojne boten”.

Nese i duam ata, nuk do t’i lejojme ata te behen mbipeshe duke mos i dhene aktivitet mjaftueshem e duke i ushqyer ata me ushqimet tona plot yndyre, kripera dhe sheqerna.

Nese i duam ata, nuk do te japim perkedhelje sa here qe thyejne rregullat e shtepise, vetem se per momentin pertojme te bejme gjene e duhur.

Nese i duam qente tane, nuk duhet ta kthejme shtepine tone ne nje qeli te madhe, ku ata zhvillojne friken, pasigurine dhe agresionin, vetem sepse ne jemi dembele per t’u marre me te ÇDO DITE.

Nese i duam qente tane, nuk do t’i humanizojme ata, te sillemi sikur jane bebe, dhe te genjejme veten duke menduar se ata kane nevoje vetem per dashuri dhe asgje tjeter.

Nese vertete i duam ata, do te gjejme kohe te studiojme psikologjine e tyre per te mesuar si ata mendojne, perceptojne dhe mesojne, ne vend qe te fajesojme ata nga gabimet tona.

Nese e duam mireqenien e qenve tane, do ta mendojme mire perpara se te themi “eshte faji i qenit”. Nese i kemi mesuar atij cila eshte gjeja e duhur per t’u bere, ai do t’a beje.

Nese i duam ata, nuk do te ndihemi fajtore kur i korigjojme ne momentin e duhur per t’i mesuar atyre si te relaksohen dhe te jene te qete, sepse nga mungesa e informacionit mendojme qe eshte “mizore” t’i korigjosh ata per t’i kthyer ne gjendje qetesie.

Qente jetojne ne nje bote njerezish dhe kane nevoje per drejtim ne ÇDO SITUATE. Eshte pergjegjesia JONE per t’i mesuar ata. Asnje qen nuk ka lindur reaktiv, me ankth, hiperaktiv, nervoz, obez apo agresiv. Keta qen jane krijuar ne kete menyre nga njerezit dhe mungesa e kujdesit te duhur po nga njerezit.
Dhenia e dashurise dhe perkedheljeve eshte MINIMUMI qe nje qen duhet te marre.

Ti nuk je shenjtor sepse “shpetove” nje qen, i cili tani eshte mbipeshe dhe jeton ne nje qeli te madhe qe eshte shtepia jote.
“SAVE THE MIND, NOT JUST THE BODY”

Nese qente tane nuk marrin ekspozimin e duhur me boten dhe zhvillojne sjellje problematike, keta qen meritojne me shume.

Happy Gotcha Day & 4th Birthday, Gloria! 🎉🎂🎈

One year ago today, Gloria became part of our family! We adopted her from Animals Need Me shelter in Shkodra, where she had been diagnosed with anaplasmosis and leishmaniasis. With proper treatment, regular check-ups, and a special diet for dogs with leishmania, she has now fully recovered and no longer requires medication.

Adopting Gloria was one of the best decisions we ever made. She brought so much joy into our lives, and we got to witness an incredible transformation. From being one of the most stressed dogs in the shelter to becoming one of the most obedient and balanced dogs in our home. Today, she plays an essential role in helping our training dogs—whether they struggle with aggression, anxiety, or fear, Gloria is always there to guide them.

Happy Gotcha Day and Happy 4th Birthday, sweet girl! You are truly special. ❤️🐾

People ask what motivates me to be a “better” human. There are lots of things. My family, My love, My friends, My clients. But also my dogs motivate me; I need to make sure I can always look after them if I need to. ❤️This is Ziko. He is a 15 years old rescue that came in our lifes 12 years ago. He’s got some beautiful eyes and a gold soul. Ziko made our life happier and we love him everyday more!

✨ Balo’s Happy Ending! - ADOPTED IN GERMANY!✨

From rescue to a forever home—Balo’s journey has been incredible! ❤️ Since June 2024, he has been with us, showing his sweet and loving personality to everyone he met. Now, he has found his perfect family in Germany with Julia, Patrick, and their son, Ben!

🏡 His new home is just 3 minutes from a beautiful forest—the perfect place for long walks, playtime, and adventures! 🌲🐾

Balo has settled in wonderfully, showering his new family with love (and plenty of tail wags!). 🐶💛 We couldn’t have wished for a better home for him!

Thank you, Julia & Patrick, for giving Balo the life he truly deserves. We are beyond grateful! 🥰

✨ Tiago’s New Life in Germany! ✨

Almost a year ago, in April 2024, this gentle giant 🐶❤️ found his forever home in Germany—and he is living his best life!

Tiago and his “brother,” Artos, have become best friends, playing and enjoying every moment together. 🐕🐕‍🦺 They make the perfect duo!

🏋️‍♂️ Tiago is thriving with daily training, always eager to learn and work for food. 🍖🧠 His love for learning is incredible, and his family is doing an amazing job guiding him!

💦 Water therapy & physiotherapy are also helping him regain strength in his leg. Before we rescued him from the streets of Tirana, he may have suffered an injury, but luckily, he doesn’t need surgery. Thanks to his dedicated family, he’s getting stronger every day!

❄️ And guess what? Tiago LOVES snow! ☃️🐾 Seeing him happy, playful, and cared for is the best reward we could ask for.

💛 A huge thank you to his family for giving him a second chance at life! We are so grateful to see him thriving.

🦴 Meet Raki 🦴
Raki, a 3-year-old Pinscher, recently moved from a quiet rural life to the bustling city of Tirana. Adjusting has been challenging, with new noises, busy surroundings, and personal space intrusions causing him stress. 😔

During his evaluation, we observed Raki’s fear-based reactions, including air nipping when overwhelmed. He’s not aggressive—just a sensitive boy trying to navigate his new world. ❤️

But here’s the good news: Raki loves his crate and finds comfort in it. 🛏️ With a tailored 20-night board-and-train program, we’ll help him:
✅ Build confidence in noisy urban settings.
✅ Improve leash skills for smoother walks.
✅ Desensitize him to triggers like loud noises.
✅ Set boundaries to feel safe and secure.

We can’t wait to see Raki’s transformation as he gains confidence and thrives in city life. 🌟 Stay tuned for updates on his progress!
