Sara’s Dog Training has had the absolute pleasure of meeting and working with so many doggies and their dedicated owners. I’m so grateful for the continued support, but I have left SXM to travel and I don’t know when I’ll be back. Lily is a lucky little girl who got adopted a few days ago! She has begun her obedience training and learned Sit, Focus and Down 🤩
The group is on Week 3 of their 5 week obedience course, where they learned Down and different variations of Stay. Such a lovely bunch of doggies and humans 😊
This week’s corgis: Eddy, Molly and Ace. These fluffy butts are progressing nicely with their obedience! We practice Come, Sit, Look and Leave It 🤩

Week 2 of 5 was a great class! The doggies were happy and feeling a bit goofy, as you can see in the photos. They learned the foundations of Stay and how to walk nicely on the leash.
Alexus is on week 3 of her 5 week obedience course. She learned Down and is also learning to focus on her human around strangers 🤩
The best days are sandy, salty, and under the sun ☀️ Libby and Sunny enjoy some obedience training coupled with playtime on the beach ☀️
This pretty girl Destiny is continuing her work on separation anxiety. Luckily she has settled into her new home and routine and now needs to be comfortable with being left alone. This requires exposing her gradually to the scary feeling of being alone without giving her anxiety. Stay tuned for an update!
What an adorable group! These pups accomplished their first class of their 5-week group obedience course. The humans learned the foundations of clicker training while the pups enjoyed all the snacks they received 😂
A happy puppy can’t sit still for long! Chico is a sweet boy who is getting his potty training on schedule and will be joining the group obedience course. Stay tuned!
Eddie is a cute little guy who has started to learn some obedience command ms as well as how to stop puppy biting. He is also doing very well with his potty training!

Max is a chunky boi who’s in foster care but looking for his forever home! Hot summer days ☀️ The Caribbean heat is strong but residential dogs Lucy and Peanut don’t mind as they explore the green trails. All of this recent rain has been lovely for the nature!
Libby and Sunny are advancing well in their training! During this session we kept them focused and calm at the bar. They did get distracted by another dog but were able to settle down. Great work!

Oliver loves to bark at other dogs and will sometimes lunge at them too. Closer and closer we get! Lizzy (brown dog) is highly reactive and doesn’t enjoy other dogs in her space. We have been able to close this gap over the last few weeks. Lilee began training with me because she is very scared of new environments and people. This video was taken on our second session and she was able to focus on her owner during an uncomfortable encounter and even take a bite of her treat, which she had been too nervous to do before. The Gang has been learning how to walk nicely as a pack. An organized walk consists of two parts: the traveling and the relaxing/sniffing. In this video we are traveling and practicing a Stop command.
