We deal with all kinds of Cavoodles and Oodle cross breeds, from our tiny Toy Cavoodes to larger Labradoodles and Goldendoodles.

Depending on the coat type your Cavoodle has, depends on how often they will need to be washed and groomed! Our really tight, curly-haired Cavoodle needs grooming monthly (we originally picked her as she looked like a straight coat puppy! WHOOPS!). On the other hand, we have straight coat cavoodles that only visit us every 12 weeks!

Anyone who knows us knows how much we love our BIG dogs, and these gentle giants are no exception ❤️

Although coat shedding is "supposed to happen with the change of seasons," we find Shepherds shed their coat ALL THE TIME!

We wash and deshed some Shepherds every 4 weeks, while others can last 12 weeks!

During the month of August, we are going to introduce you to our TOP 4, most popular breeds. These are the breeds we book the most appointments for in Bathurst, and will give you some tips for looking after their coats!

SCHNAUZERS
Coming in at #4, we have Schnauzers. We have Miniature and Standard breeds on our books and this particular breed should be booked in every 6-8 weeks for a wash and groom!

We clipper and use a carding knife on the coats and Duncan is in the process of learning how to hand strip the coats for Grooming Shows!
