Dr Lauren has been working at Pet Society Vet since Nov 2023 and has been an asset to our team, patients and the community we cherish.

It is bitter sweet saying BEST WISHES to our friend as they embark on their next professional chapter as a clinic owner!
We are proud and excited for Dr Lauren, but she will be missed.

Being a clinic dedicated to personal and professional growth and development, we know we may say "goodbye for now" to some of our team along the way. Though this does create opportunities for another chapter for our next team member.

It is "see you soon" not a "goodbye" as we know you wont be able to resist staying in touch.

Recently Nurse Leanne acquired her Veterinary Nursing Accreditation.

This is a certification that qualified and experienced nurses who have met the criteria can apply for.
One of the main areas is to show high levels of continuing professional development in a variety of nursing skills and knowledge.

We encourage all our team to undertake ongoing professional development and this accreditation is a great way to show this effort.

WELL DONE LEANNE for all the work you continue to do behind the scenes to provide current knowledge and skills to your team, our patients their families and the profession at large.

Today is an important day of acknowledgement in our profession.

VET NURSE DAY

While we are grateful and show appreciation for our amazing team everyday, today we highlight their immense value more widely with our community.

They are our animal advocates, our anaesthetists, our confidants, client communicators and educators, highly skilled professionals and are truly the backbone of the profession.

We rely on them for so much and could not provide the care and service to our fur families without them.

Thank you to our small but mighty nursing team - Tina, Leanne and Tanya.

THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR PAWS TO THE TIPS OF OUR WET NOSES.

Today marks R U OK day for 2024.

This year we focus on asking R U OK ANY day.
While there is one day marked in the calendar to bring attention to this important topic, we are checking in with our team, our clients, our friends and family ANY day of the year.

If you feel like you need some support but do not know where to start, let someone in your community know. They do not have to have all the answers but knowing that you are not alone and that others around you care for you and your wellbeing can be a massive step in the right direction.

In the past 2 years the topic of mental health within the veterinary profession is becoming more common place to talk openly about.
We want to thank our amazing clients who check on us when they see a weary face, or a hard smile to hold. They let us know they see us and are here.

Our team at Pet Society Vet are so important to each other and to the care of your pets. That is why we know the importance of looking out for each other and giving each other support on the good days and the tough days.

Community is key
Starting the conversation can be all it takes.

A delayed WELCOME to Dr Lauren Eyre to Pet Society VEt.

Dr Lauren has been working at Pet Society Vet since late 2023 and has been a valued addition to our growing community.

Dr Lauren's clients trust her implicitly with the care of their fur kids.
Her compassion, care and knowledge shines through her interactions with the pets and their humans.

She is dedicated to the welfare of animals, of all shapes and sizes, and continues work within animal shelters of South Australia, making a difference to those in greatest need.

When she is not saving the shelter animals, she greatly enjoys the connection and community that is provided through a small animal clinic and client relationships.

Ask for Dr Lauren when booking your beloved pet in for their next check up or consultation.

Happy Mothers Day.

May we continue to come in all shapes and sizes.
May we continue to honour ourselves and the important roles we play in the lives of our families.

To all those missing their mother figures
To all those grieving the desire to be a mother.
To all the mums to fur kids and human kids alike.

We see you and you are special.
