It is with sadness that I advise all my wonderful clients that Groom Groom will be shutting its doors permanently. Unfortunately, I am physically unable to continue grooming due to arthritis in my back and neck. This is the reason I haven't groomed (and posted) in some time. My sincere thanks to all the wonderful furry and human friends who supported Groom Groom in the time we were open. It truly has been my honour and sincere pleasure to play this small part in your lives. Bessie and I look forward to seeing you at the oval!

Could these two boys be any more adorable? Louis and Tanner visited Groom Groom today for their regular pamper and couldn't have been better behaved. Such a wonderful pair of boys to have in the salon. Lovely to see you both again. Hope you are both feeling as fabulous as you look after your grooms!!

Unfortunately, Groom Groom is no longer able to take on new clients. Grooming services for existing customers will be available on Saturdays only as from 26 June 2021 (I am re-joining the Monday to Friday workforce). Sincere apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.

The wonderful Bob came to visit us today for his regular groom. Bob is not as young as he used to be but is always very patient and an absolute pleasure to groom. He left looking much less fluffy than when he came in. No doubt he'll be sporting one of his fabulous jackets soon. Great to see you and your Mum, Bob!

So this senior lady stole my heart yesterday. Molly is an elderly girl who was rescued from very dire circumstances by the RSPCA. Happily, she has found her forever home with the most caring foster carer and his loving family (instant dog pack included). Her new Dad has worked hard to get her skin and coat healthy again, so we were able to give Molly her first groom yesterday. We still have a little bit of work to do around her head, ears and feet, but the transformation already is remarkable. Molly was very patient during her groom and quickly found a quiet spot in the salon to rest once her groom was done. Won't be long before you are looking your supermodel gorgeous best, Molly!

So nice to see Cloudy back for her regular groom yesterday. Cloudy is full of energy and never stays still long enough to get a posed photo on the grooming table, so it's always an action shot in the garden. But she was wonderfully composed on the grooming table yesterday. Well done, gorgeous girl.

What a delight it was to meet Snoopy and his Dad today. Snoopy absolutely loved his massage in the bath and all his treats. I don't think I've ever received so many kisses and cuddles before! After his pamper, Snoopy insisted we play with every single toy in the salon. Can't wait for our next cuddle and play, Snoopy!

Groom Groom is a new local dog grooming business in Hallett Cove. Aleks has always had a passionate love for animals and in August last year decided to take it to the next level and start her own dog grooming business.

Aleks offers everything from a wash and blow dry to a hygiene clip. She takes a lot of care with each dog that comes through the door at Groom Groom and specialises in small to medium size dogs. Aleks’ dog, Bessie was a good girl during my visit and modelled some of the grooming equipment used.

How lucky is beautiful Fred? Just two weeks ago he found his wonderful new Dad, and they are clearly meant to be together! Fred came in today for, as far as we know, his first ever groom. It was a new experience for him, so we kept it to a quick bath, brush and tiny little tidy up. He did so well for a first-timer! Thank you for being such a little trooper Fred. Have fun with your Dad on the Million Paws Walk!!

The gorgeous (and always fashionable!) Tanner came for a pamper today. While he doesn't think much of Bessie, he seemed rather pleased with his appearance when he left the salon. No doubt he'll be impressing all the other dogs as he struts his stuff on his walks! So lovely to see you again Tanner.

What a good boy Charlie is! He has been waiting for me to recover from my surgery to have his haircut. After a lovely pamper, and play in the garden with Bessie, he literally pranced out of the salon. I think he was very pleased with his new 'do. Thank you to Charlie and Mum Ronnie for your patience and loyalty! 😀

Groom Groom is a home-based professional dog grooming salon located on Perry Barr Road, Hallett Cove. Groom Groom provides professional dog grooming services for small to medium-sized dogs (maximum 12kg, size dependent). It is not a mobile grooming service.
