Hisses to Purrs Incorporated Hisses to Purrs is a cat rescue based in Morphett Vale. We specialise in street cats and kittens Hisses to Purrs is committed to rescuing only street cats.

Hisses to Purrs was started to rescue street and colony cats in southern Adelaide. We only cover the southern suburbs of Adelaide and do not take in cats or kittens from outside of this area. We believe that every cat deserves a chance to find the comfort of a forever home. Those that we cannot save, we’re committed to desexing and vaccinating and releasing back to their established colony or to t

he area they are being fed so the spread of unsocialised cats and kittens will stop. This means that we do not take unwanted owned cats and kittens. We also do not offer rehoming. We will however come to rescue any street cats if we have the capacity to do so at the time. If there is a street cat near you that needs saving, please contact us. We rely solely on the generous donations and adoption fees to do the work we do. We are a registered charity with DGR status and all donations over $2 are tax deductible. The gorgeous Conrad is now available at Petstock Melrose Park!

Conrad is a purry boy who is still a little shy around movement. Being born in the bushes at PETstock Melrose Park it's not surprising that he's still getting used to indoor life.

When he's established trust with you, Conrad is super affectionate and will even drool with happiness when getting a pat.

Conrad is best suited to a home with another cat who he can spend his time with and learn from.

Unfortunately, we've had to cancel our last market of the year and will no longer be at The Original Open Market inc on Sunday. We'll be back there on the 19/1/25 which will also be our first market of the new year. We're sad that we won't be there but we had to consider our volunteers. With the forecast showing 33c at 10am we had to make the decision to cancel. We hope everyone stays cool on Sunday!

We're at The Original Open Market inc next Sunday for our last market of the year! With 29 cats and kittens currently in the rescue and 5 more currently being trapped, all purchases go directly to caring for our fosters.

WOW! What an amazing day! We raised a phenomenal $1,340 towards our vet fees. Thank you so much to the City of Onkaparinga for having us at the Onkaparinga Christmas Pageant 2024 we're truly so grateful for the support 😻😻

Today's market also marked one year since Alicia started making earrings and attending markets. With your help we've officially raised $8,479! Markets have made a massive difference to our fundraising efforts and have helped us keep on top of our vet fees throughout the year. We really can't thank our community enough for helping support our rescue. Little Lucy Chen thanks you all for contributing to her care as well! We hope to see you all at future markets!
