Dog Rehome Request
Dear dog's owners and lovers,
one of our clients is looking to rehome her dog.
Please read the description below.
We would appreciate if you could help us to share this post.
The owner details are available upon request.
"Bandit is a bordoodle (border collie x miniature poodle), 2.5 years old (born January 2022) & weighs approximately 14kg. He is desexed, microchipped, fully vaccinated and wormed. He doesn’t shed hair and requires professional grooming every 2 months for a hair cut. He is toilet trained with a dog door, has no allergies, is not destructive with furniture. Has no issue being left home alone while my partner and I are at work. He was crate trained as a puppy - it hasn’t been used for a long time however wouldn’t take much to get him used to it again.
He is super affectionate with my partner and I and loves a good cuddle. He sleeps on his dog bed next to our bed and we close the door at night so he doesn’t go out to bark. He loves to chase the ball in the back yard and run around the house with us, but he does spend the majority of his time sleeping. Requires 30-45 minute walks at least 3 times per week.
He does have anxiety which he takes medication for (fluoxetine).
Bandit does get aggressive with other dogs and strangers at the door / on walks / tradies in the house. He does warm up to our friends coming over, it just needs to be managed (separate for 10 minutes until he calms down).
I would ideally like Bandit to go to a home with no other dogs or cats, and no children under 7/8 years old (he hasn’t had much interaction with children but I imagine a toddler screaming/ pulling his hair could agitate him).
If at any point after adopting him you feel as though he is not the right fit for your family, I will take him back to rehome him again or support you to rehome him yourself. I do not want him to end up in a shelter.
Please let me know if there’s any other information that could be helpful".
