If you teach an ON switch to a high drive dog-you had better teach an OFF switch or you will be in trouble!
Be firm. Be fair. Be clear. Say what you mean & mean what you say. But also remember to always use ALAPAMAN.
As little as possible as much as necessary. To affect your desired outcome. Better to have a strong conversation with a small Pup than a BIG conversation with a STRONG DOG! 🧠

: Dog owners in the west and north are being urged to be vigilant after outbreaks of the deadly canine parvovirus.

The highly-contagious virus has been detected in Andrews Farm, Elizabeth Grove, Elizabeth South and Seaton.

Symptoms of the disease include lethargy, loss of appetite, severe vomiting and diarrhoea.

Barney is an Amstaff who has been struggling with his excitement over other dogs, a common complaint for owners of this breed. Luckily his owners are investing in his & their education by doing both a foundation course & day training sessions with us. Reflecting on the Australian seminar that I attended on the weekend. These are a few of my take homes…
Cheryl & the whole team run one heck of an event. 10/10 on a great job!
Mia is one of the greats. It shows in everything she does. Her passion is contagious, her drive is limitless, her presentation of dog training theory is clear, concise & easy to understand. Yet somehow her ex*****on of the theory is even more impressive. It was humbling to watch her take a young dog she has never seen before & work it like the dog had grown up in her system. Outside of her talent as a dog trainer she is also just a really good human being. Warm, intelligent, generous, honest, diligent & also somehow fun. She embodies the Malinois spirit & it’s not hard to see how she has had the success that she has achieved in competitive Dog Sport.

New Year-New Start!
Barkley our latest rehome dog has started the new year with a bang!…and a new home. We hope that he finds his life with Widge (Dave) a much better fit & we think he is going to love his new role as ride along buddy & watch dog of Widge’s rig. We found Barkley to be a fun & happy little dog & we are sure he will have a wonderful future with Widge.
