After an hour drive in near 40° heat, getting poo-pood on, then promptly vomited on, stripping down to my underwear on the north-south motorway only to get vomited on again, followed by an immediate bath and shower to finish off with being urinated on.... we are pleased to announce the amazing arrival of Truffles Fudgy Bear Boopek - the first of his name to our home!

Well, there we go. Another January is coming to a close and more than 2 months straight of sharing our home with your beautiful babies.

It's now that time that we start planning out our year, but we need your help to do so. If you are planning, planned, or even thinking about a trip, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can make sure we are available for your fluffy family.

This post comes with a little "tongue in cheek," but tonight, Daniel and I are going to sleep (together) with just our little furbabies in our bed for the first time since the 24th of June!

That is 8 solid weeks of your little lovelies sharing our home, our hearts, and yes, our bed. Thank you so much for trusting us with your furbabies, but, with nothing but respect, we are going to sleep well tonight

Hi! It's me again

Did you know that 1 in 4 People that are sleeping rough, (living in cars, tents, vans, couch surfing, etc.) are aged between 12 and 24!

Whatever their reason, their story, cold wintery conditions escalate feelings of hopelessness and despair. This leads to increased mental illness and worse.... self-harm!

By simply putting together a bag of goodies and dropping it off at one of our Drop Off Sites between 13th and 21st May you will be giving people a sense of hope that they are not alone.

Put a bag together with grandkids, neighbours, clubs, schools and friends. Like and share the post within your community. Share the love and hope!

Happy to report that Snickers surgery went well, and he is in a stable condition

To insure or not to insure.... I often see this question on alternate Cavoodle pages.

We can comfortably weigh in on both sides of the debate.

Not all of you will know that our gorgeous little Snickerdoodle had a life saving surgery 5 1/2 years ago. His vet bills totalled $11,500.00. We retrieved $9,000.00 of these bills on pet insurance and our policy was around $17-$18/week.

March 2020 and the pandemic turned my career upside-down and the kids policies were increased to more than $100/baby/month 🤯🤯🤯

Because we had been a good few years without incident, I made the judgement call to cancel their policies and consciously put those funds into our mortgage offset account "in case of an emergency" but make the money work for us.

Fast forward to this morning, where pictured vet bill for Snickers was presented to us 😵‍💫🤯 and this is before he has to have his next life saving surgery early next week!

I will pay the devil my soul for my furbabies so this is not an issue but, considering we love your babies like we love our own, please ensure you are covered for the unexpected!

Our family holiday to "our" Island retreat. Weather hasn't been great but we've walked, talked, played, eaten out and, most of all relaxed.

Appreciation post!!!
As our second busiest time of the year draws to a close, I want to take this opportunity to thank the ying to my yang, my parter in crime, the "man behind the curtain"... my extraordinary husband, Daniel.

Whilst the travel industry has bounded back and the creation of our unit on Kangaroo Island has kept me extremely busy, this man has stepped up and been my right hand man.

Daniel, you deserve all the accolades I can bestow on you and, as I'm sure all our valued fur-parents will agree, Oodles of luv for Oodles would not be the growing success it is without you...

Cookie is happy to show off our toy collection and feeding area in our holiday unit. Meanwhile, Snickers is exhausted after watching Mummy and Daddy working on getting the unit ready.
