**OWNER FOUND*** Hoping anyone might know the owner of this little fellow. Found in the suburb of Hallett Cove. Desexed male but no collar and no vet open to check for microchip.

Hopefully, someone knows his owners. He's with us and is safe.

We have Luna visiting with us this weekend. She is an Eden X Tug puppy, and (pending hips) will become part of our breeding program mid-late this year. She is a large miniature girl and has kept her dads glorious, red coat! She is a sweet girl, intelligent and full of love!

Now that Joop has passed her pre-breeding check with flying colours, it seems she has decided she is ready for her first litter. In partnership with Scawoo Australian Cobberdogs, we are thrilled to announce the pairing between these two chocolate beauties:

Joopie - Lilly Pilly Way Drops of Jupiter

Both of these dogs exemplify the Cobberdog breed standard in temperament, health, and conformation.

We expect mostly chocolate puppies with a couple of golds thrown in for good measure, and all will have beautiful abstract markings (splashes of white).

I will begin taking reservations for our priority waitlist, so let me know if you would like to be part of that?

We would expect birth to be around April with go home dates of around June.

We said goodbye to our 5th and 6th puppy today - darling brothers "Rudolph" and "Star." They both jetsetted to Victoria, and I'm pleased to say they got there safely!

The third and fourth to leave are dark blue collar boy (Nick) and dark green collar boy (Jingle), affectionately known as "the twins," now known as Douglas and Frank! 😍

We wish them and their families loads of love, joy, and puppy snuggles!

I was also reminded that it is Bonny and Showies pups (from their first litter) 2 year old birthday today! I can't believe that 2 years ago, I was welcoming Bonnys first litter into the world and now saying goodbye to her last! So bitter-sweet! 🥺

Had a visit from precious little Lenny and his mum this morning. He and Kiwi are the cutest mirror images of each other with their big white sock and white toes and chest. Not to mention a little tip of white on their tails! Such adorable little siblings!
Both are from Eden and Winston, and both will eventually produce little puppies of their own one day.

**GUARDIAN HOMES WANTED IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA**

We have a few opportunities for guardian homes coming up in the next few months. We are welcoming applicants from prospective families who are willing to work with us and want to help contribute to the ongoing development of this wonderful breed. Some attributes we are looking for in a guardian home:

1. Experience with dogs – Previous experience with dogs, particularly with raising puppies, will be highly regarded.
2. Commitment to training – A guardian home should be willing to invest time in positive reinforcement training and socialization.
3. Stable environment – A stable, loving household that provides consistency and structure for the puppy.
4. Active lifestyle – An active home that can provide physical and mental stimulation, including daily walks, playtime, and socialization with other dogs and people.
5. Suitable living space – A safe, secure home with a fenced yard or access to appropriate outdoor space for exercise and play.
6. Understanding of the breeds needs – Knowledge of the breed’s specific requirements and temperament or a willingness to learn about and meet those needs.
7. Ability to follow breeder’s guidelines – Willingness to listen to the breeder about specific health care and willing to feed a fresh food, highly nutritious diet.
8. Health-conscious – Access to a reputable vet and the ability to provide routine medical care, including vaccinations and any breed-specific health checks.
9. No plans for long-term travel or relocation – Stability in terms of residence to ensure the puppy’s routine and care are not disrupted.
10. Strong communication – Regular, transparent communication with the breeder, including updates on the puppy’s progress and any health or behavioural concerns.
11. Respect for the guardian home agreement – Willingness to respect the terms of the guardian home agreement, including including returning the dog when required for breeding purposes and understanding the contract’s obligations.
