A pet I adopted and two months later...

We welcome 4 bubs 😊 3 sows 1 boar.

When me and my daughter checked the bubs this morning on a quick look I said to myself "this can't be" and still doubting thinking he probably have white spotting somewhere else in the body. Then as my daughter held the bubs one by one I heard her said "Dad he is a golden agouti boy and no other white on body just the white on the face" so I went to check him out myself! 🫨😳😱

This boar is quite special as I've seen him in my dreams few years ago! I always day dream of it too! Never thought he would pop out 3 years right on my stud. I feel weird as it's too specific as even the colour in my dreams is the same so I'm not sure if I just think about it too much and the "piggy fairly" just give in and finally gifted it to me or the stars is just aligning. 🤷‍♂️ What do you guys think?

Having my lunch at work yesterday then I've seen this being advertised for adoption! So we picked him up this afternoon... a baby abby (pet) 😊
He look so small for his age I asked the owner but she is not sure. Was been told early June but he looks like he is only 8 weeks old. One thing for sure his fur is rough to touch already :)

When a friend from work wanted to rehome her daughter's pig and I got asked.

Had to trim the fur on his bottom end so it's doesn't tangle/matte.

Can't sleep at all. Excited and also worried at the same time this coming summer 😬😮‍💨☺️😁😬🙄
Hopefully the $$$ newly installed solar panel will make the pigs (and my cats) happy this summer so I can keep the AC on the whole day for them.
I don't want a repeat devastation last summer it had given anxiety! 😮‍💨

When you thought you lost all your abby line and then a person who adopted some of my "not keepers" months ago suddenly contacted me and wanted to rehome them back to me as their life situation changed!
So I excitedly said YES I'll take them back 100%!!! 😍😊😍🤩🤩🤩
Now I just need to breed them again to continue with my original line :)

Very sad day today.
Came home from work and went straight to check one of my cavy that's due.

Saw 7 bubs all DOA and mum (Bryn my self lilac) also has passed 😢 today is just a write off! :(

Unfortunately here in Australia I can't find any video of any cavy judge explaining while they're judging.

Afternoon photo shoot! 😅

Growing nicely! A little over 2 weeks old from today.

Looking like I'm getting some show cavies there.
I know they're still on their fuzzy coat but at the moment the Dalmatian line rex has noticibly having the most rough to touch fur amongst the rest.

Today we attended the

South Australia Cavy Club Annual show.

Judge by Jen from Qld/NSW.

Coming in the show with not expecting to get anything at all and got a surprise and came home with some wins! 😊😁😊😁
