Dangerous foods for dogs.
If you suspect that your pet has eaten any foods which may cause harm, contact your vet immediately for advice, do not wait and see – it only takes a couple of hours for food such as chocolate to be absorbed into the system.
When you call your vet it will be helpful to have the following information to hand
What have they eaten?
How much have they eaten?
When did they eat it?
Their details – breed | approx. weight | age.

Remember - prevention is better than cure – please keep dangers out of reach.

We appreciate the community looking out for baby birds, but please assess the situation first before bringing them into the clinic. We will be happy to assist with the sick and injured when we are needed. If you are unsure, contact a bird rescue such as Fauna Rescue SA or the clinic on 7231 3000 🦅
