Single gilled eel or Swamp eel, Ophisternon gutturale

Pretty rare fish for us here in South Australia surveyed today on the fleurieu peninsula with Nature Glenelg Trust. Climbing Galaxid, there's was over 100 individuals caught at this site.

On the 18th of May the Adelaide Pet show is on for first time at the show grounds and theres a whole fish section as well as Reptile, dogs and cats. Nature Glenelg Trust will be there showcasing South Australia other rare endangered fish including the Southern Pygmy Perch, Yarra Pygmy Perch and the Zombie fish Southern Purple spotted Gudgeon. I'll post the Pet show information in the comments!
