HI all! This enormous girl is Nima. She is a Leonberger and weighs in at 53kg.😍 Her pawrents have made the grooming process so easy for her (and our backs/shoulders!) by introducing her to the grooming process as a puppy and teaching her to get in and out of the bath, turn around when asked and step up and down off the table when it is lowered for her.
She does not pull us around the shop and I see her calmly walking down her ramp from the car to come in for her appointment.
I can't thank her peoples enough for foreseeing these needs as her grooming is ongoing all through her life. Making her compliant during her stay with us makes the job so much more enjoyable for all and enables us to be able to do the job efficiently without stress and physical fatigue. (for both parties!)
Ongoing bookings for big dogs will need to be assessed if 'groom ready' in order to safely be groomed. This is especially necessary for the very old dogs as their cognitive and physical limitations can impact greatly at a grooming session. Please see our Big Dog policy here. Hi all!
As some of you already know,

🎉We have Moved!🎉

However we haven't gone far, only a minute up the road at 24 Venning St just off Bains Rd.
Photo 5 has a Google map snippet.

Our prices have also changed slightly, photo 6 has a simplified breakdown of our new costs.

As always, bringing your small dog on a 6 weekly schedule will bring that cost down a bit as well as helping your fur baby get used to us and keeping their coat in its best condition.
We currently have a few openings for repeat 6 weekly bookings for small dogs so please call 0403473473 to jump on the schedule at this great rate!

Hi all! Over the last few months the salon has had some employee injuries/sickness causing shuffles of appointments. We appreciate your understanding over those periods and on my return from holidays just now, I have the flu! Salon will reopen on Thursday and an announcement will be made shortly on our impending relocation. Sadly the building is being demolished but we will be relocating locally. Onwards and upwards!
