Poor Holly needed the emergency vet today 😞 extremely lethargic, coughing and not drinking. She was in great care of Dr Tristan who gave an injection of antibiotics and meds to take home. Unfortunately her operation may be delayed yet again 😩 send prayers 🙏

** Ex RSPCA employee and animal neglect **

Nicole C took Annie Dalton’s (her grandmother’s) dogs from 30th June 2021 to their house to care for them due to Annie going through Palliative care. Annie entrusted Nicole to look after her beautiful dogs due to her working in vet clinics and at the RSPCA over the years. Unfortunately Annie Dalton passed away in their care / home in January 2022. They took ownership of the two beautiful dogs since.

On the 27th June 2023 they decided to dump the dogs. They called the Onkaparinga council and advised they found two stray dogs in O’Halloran Hill and they were holding them at their address in Reynella. Organised council to come and pick them up. These poor dogs were held at the RSPCA shelter scared and traumatised. Nicole was happy they were like this to be euthanised. Her grandmother’s dogs (which were puppies from her old dog) 😢😢 the dogs have been severely neglected. She did not seek adequate veterinary care over the two years she had them. Teeth rotten and infected where they cannot eat. Both dogs are so under weight 😞 Vets believe Hollie & Kita most likely contracted kennel cough at the RSPCA shelter they were held in, as they were never previously vaccinated. Nicole knew they were never vaccinated. She also took her own dogs to the vets during the time they had Hollie and Kita (refer review below). This was her vet of choice as she used to work there. I confirmed with the vet clinic Nicole did not take either Hollie or Kita at the clinic during the two years. Just disgusting 😡😡😡😡

**Update** I was advised by the RSPCA today the perpetrators lied to council and advised they found the dogs as strays in O’Halloran Hill 😡 hence why RSPCA advertised as dogs found in this area. Council picked them up from their own address to which dogs have been residing for two years. I was told by RSPCA today they cannot prosecute for badly infected mouths and being emancipated due to not being able to eat 😞

— KITA —
(Pomeranian x Chihuahua)
Should be 4.5kg - 5kg
Size measurements considered

Current weight 3.8kg

— HOLLIE —
(Throwback Pomeranian)
Should be 6-7kg
Size measurements considered

Current weight 4kg

They have dropped a considerable amount of weight since they were taken to live in Reynella under their care. I am not surprised considering their teeth are so bad 😞 should’ve been dealt with during the time they had them. Considering she used to work at the vets she knew they needed to be done but didn’t. Their mouths smell like a dead carcass so I’m sure she would’ve smelt it as well. FULL NEGLECT 😡

**UPDATE** Kita has been coughing up green mucous so off to the vets with both of them at 2pm. I will also get them to check Hollie at the same time. Hollie was booked in for her teeth operation but needed to be delayed due to Kennel Cough. Vets will be writing up reports for the RSPCA Australia and will share with you all

Hollie and Kita were residing at Reynella (just off Sheriffs Rd) and apparently found in O’Halloran Hill, South Australia according to Nicole and her partner Mark. They told the council false information 😡

Kita has lung issues since the day they were dumped :(

*UPDATE*

They lied to the council saying they were strays and how they found them in O’Halloran Hill 😡 hence why RSPCA lost dog advertisement stated the dogs were found in O’Halloran Hill. Denying any responsibility of the neglect they have given to the poor dogs over the past two years at their Reynella address 😞 they never changed or updated the registration details of the dogs to their address because they planned to dump them. Poor dogs would’ve been euthanised in the shelter if family and friends didn’t notice the lost dog advertisement by RSPCA 😞

——

Nicole C (ex RSPCA Australia employee) and Mark T had these two beautiful dogs (Hollie and Kita) as they took over my grandmother to gain access to her will as Power of Attorney. They sold my grandmother's home behind the families back and had my grandmother and her dogs in their care at their place of residence in Reynella. Once finalisation of court proceedings they then dumped the two dogs in O'Halloran Hill. This was during a major storm with torrential rains and winds. RSPCA picked up Holie & Kita on the 27th June 2023 (refer picture below). Both Hollie & Kita are severely malnourished and have infected teeth 😞 RSPCA have tried contacting their phone numbers but they refuse to answer or call them back. Dog lovers are now caring for Hollie & Kita. We are trying to get their health back up to scratch. We are glad they are still alive. We want justice for these two beautiful dogs
