Everybody meet Nova, the lovable 2 year old rescue mutt 💕 Known for her dobby ears and her tippy tappy toes, you may have seen her at our TG clinic when she comes along to work with mum Jess on desk. She loves to help out at puppy training and get all the kisses and snuggles with her human friends. Despite having 5 working breeds in her she loves snoozing the day away at home but will never say no to a hike or zooms at the beach ☀️🌳

One way we can monitor our patients health and status is using state of the art equipment like pulse oximetry. In the same human healthcare use this to ascertain a patients oxygen saturation and perfusion, we do the same in veterinary medicine however instead of placing the probe on a finger - we use other areas such as the tongue, peripheries and other areas of thin skin.
