Well done Team Fricker!!
We had a great day yesterday at the GN Qualifier Champion of Champions, run by SHC, Competitors Association. All week the Committee have altered and changed classes and start times to ensure the show could go on given it was supposed to be 36 on Saturday and 38 today. The whole show was held yesterday and with judges and stewards making sure it was finished before the heat of the day hit! Everyone needs to be congratulated on organising a show to fit in with the weather so we could do what we love and thats show!
We took 5 including 2 Newcomers (2nd show for both of them) and everyone performed well. Manorvale After Five won the Champion Small Show Hack, Corumbene First Dance won the Champion Small Pony Hack, our newcomer galloway, Daisy Patch Olympia was 2nd in the Newcomer and Reserve Champion Small Show Galloway. Ty hoped on her to ride her in the open class as Caitlin was on the small pony and we didn't want to slow down the show. The young off the track hack, Its Who You Know ridden by Ty was up in the placings for both the Newcomer and the Open and 'Spud' handled it all like a Champ! Landsdowne was the last on for us and wasn't sure about being on after lunch, yet worked well and was 3rd in the Large hack with Victoria.
