The vehicle is expected to be back on the road by the end of April, barring any unforeseen issues. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Super Cheap Auto for assembling the head cylinder kit at a cost of approximately $1,500, and to Allied Auto Online for providing an affordable starter motor priced at $155.50. Once the necessary parts have been received, we will proceed with acquiring oil, oil filter, and coolant, and subsequently recommence regular maintenance checks on our beehives. We would also like to express our appreciation to friends who loaned us their vehicle, clients who accommodated our scheduling needs, and others who demonstrated understanding during this period when we were without transportation.

Business public liability and product insurance has been secured for $300 for 3 months with a new supplier, reducing costs from over $300 per month. However, removal services will no longer be offered due to the absence of public indemnity coverage.

Food safety inspection on our honey harvesting shed Monday.

We are also having issues with our email and phone, as we aren’t getting emails and phone calls/voicemails at certain times and days for some unknown reason.

Technology right 😂😅😆

Please be understanding that with my recent formal diagnosis of ADHD combined with Akkadian Health, and starting my medication I will be all over the place until dosage is fine tuned. Thankyou

Scary but interesting fact about Honey bees (Apis mellifera)

If there is not enough nutrition from the pollen and nectar that the foragers bring back to the hive, the bees will eat their brood (eggs, larvae and pupae) to get their nutrition.

This is where supplement feeding would definitely be beneficial for your hives if they have no brood. It may be the hot weather and the queen has gone off the lay; more than likely though with non suburb full of garden hives that have a food source, but those where it’s dry and with minimal food source, will need that bit extra to help be strong with enough numbers of bees to survive winter.

Supplement feeding includes not only sugar syrup but also pollen supplements in dry powder or patty form.

Dear gossips, you’re right my car isn’t at my house, hasn’t been since Friday. It’s at the mechanics, now add whatever crap you feel like interpreting that into.

Massive thanks to Aphrodite, Trevor and the BSSA for the offer of discounted sugar to feed bees to members.

Our bees in the hills are starving and this will help ours and the hive we are bee-sitting, as they’re living hand to mouth with how dry it’s been.
No, we do not harvest honey from our fed hives as it’s not pure honey.

Not bees, but will get us back to doing bees at our away apiaries.

Already replaced 3 hoses Friday and Saturday, did the final 4 today. Todays trophies, just to flush the system and refill with clean coolant and we should be able to travel more than 10kms before the temp fluctuates from normal to oh buzz we need to stop now and let it cool down, or a hose decided to become a sprinkler.
