Introducing "Obi". Obi's Mum Chelsea and Dad Aaron had some prearranged plans over the next week so we get to spend a little extra time with this gorgeous boy.

Chelsea has made the 2.5hr round trip several times over the past few weeks to visit Obi and the other puppies. She came again on Wednesday, her final visit before taking him home. I actually think he recognised her and knows that she is his special person, it was very touching to see them together.

Only nine sleeps to go Chelsea, Aaron and The Cooke Family 💚

Obi 💚, Dusty ❤️ and Lexi have had a big rest today with a few plays in between.

Thunder travelled to his forever home in Whyalla today. You could see an instant bond form between Max and Thunder (the same bond was present a few weeks ago when the family visited). With cuddles for 4.5 hours on the way home to Whyalla no doubt Thunder is now going to be Max's little shadow.

Thunder has had a big play with the Wakelin families other dog a female miniature groodle called Storm.

He is going to be very spoilt not only from his immediate family but he has grandparents who have also been eagerly awaiting his arrival. Thanks for being part of this page Owen, i would love to see a photo of yourself with Thunder.

Rocky has been introduced to the Kronawitter Families other dog Scruffy. Scruffy slept by Rockys crate for part of the night (very sweet). The family also has two cats, Rocky hasn't seen a cat before and looks at them as though they are aliens 🤣 Izzy and her brother Chase are enjoying their Rocky and Scruffy cuddles.

Zaya is very clever (or as Jaz said food orientated) and has already learnt to sit. Today she is learning look at me and bed.

I received a message this morning to say that Zaya had a great night overnight in her crate but this morning was a land shark menace 🤣

Besides loosing 🩵, breeding Lexi has been a very positive, happy, loving experience. It's actually been one of the best experiences of my life, i have absolutely loved it. This week has been tough though, it's forever home week for three of the puppies.

I have shared all the experiences with you, so i thought i would share this part also...my tears...many many many tears...the photos are the light tears, lets face it, nobody wants to see me bawling.

❤ Is my family's gorgeous furbaby

💜 Is my son and daughter inlaws puppy, they live only 20 mins away and i will see them on Sunday.

🧡 Is one of my daughters best friends puppy, they live in the adjoining suburb. We will catchup for puppy playdates and we are going to do some dog sitting.

💙 Is on his way at this very moment to his forever home in Whyalla. Whyalla is also my hometown so will visit when we are there and his family will send through lots if updates.

💚 Forever home is with the family of one of Leighs work colleagues. I am sure we will also arrange the occasional catchup and get lot's of updates.

We are so very lucky that we were able to arrange the most AMAZING forever homes with people that we know. Each forever home families excitement for their beloved new family member warms my heart. There are no goodbyes, only see you soonish, but that still wasn't enough to stop the tears this week.

As my son and daughter inlaw got in the car with 💜, i started crying again, Jaz said "i feel bad, it's like i am stealing 💜 off you" Thankfully i was able to hold it together to wave off 🧡💙.

Miss 15 said "Mum you are being overly dramatic, you will need therapy after this".

As each puppy leaves, my house goes a little quieter, there is less dog mess, i am slowly adjusting my house from the breeding setup to Lexi and ❤ long-term setup and i am getting more and more free time. It's like i have been living in puppy world for the past 8 weeks and now i am slowly returning to my usual life (puppy world is way more exciting).

My fur family has changed over the past eight weeks with the loss of my old girl Bindi and little 🩵. I am very much looking forward to giving Lexi and ❤ extra attention.

A big shout out to my Hubby Leigh who has been helping me with the puppies and loves them as much as i do.

My Hubby Leigh left for a work trip last night, when he gets home three of the pups will have left us and will be settling in to their forever homes. We are so very lucky that all the puppies forever homes are with people we know ❤💜🧡💚💙

I placed a paver in the puppy room this morning as a temporary door stop. 💚💙 have taken a liking to it. We have several dog beds through the puppy room and living area but it seems a slate floor and paver are much more comfy 🤷‍♀️

The puppies enjoyed their outing to the vets this morning for their checkup, vaccination and microchipping. Of course they captured everyones hearts and got loads of attention.

💚 Cried when he got his microchipping needle, he got an extra long hug afterwards.

💙 Had the heaviest birth weight
🧡 Is now the heaviest puppy

💜 Had the lightest birth weight
❤️ Is now the lightest puppy

❤️💙 Barely moved when they got their needles

🧡💙 are on their way to being young men (testicles have dropped). ❤️💚 shouldn't be far behind.

🧡 weighs just over 6kg ❤️ is 4.8kg

Having 5 pups living in the house with us has been the most amazing experience but there is the odd time that they are a handful, especially now they are bigger. I have found the perfect way to calm them down so we can reset (usually i need to finish cleaning up after them). I have been using Lexis large slow feeder bowl as a frozen lick mat. 3 different flavours - bone broth, peanut butter and tuna. It is an absolute winner 🙌

7 weeks today ❤️💜🧡💚💙

We are roating the pups today whilst watching the Formula 1.
2 or 3 pups in the living room with us and the others in the puppy room, its gives Leigh and I the chance to focus on helping them with their toilet training and some one on one attention.

Over the past week the pups are starting to show their intelligence and you can see that they are ready for that one on one training time with their forever families.

In only one week our gorgeous puppies start leaving us to live with their forever families.

Here is a little info for the puppies families.

It is preferable to feed ❤💜🧡💚💙 the same diet that they are used to for a week or so and once they are settled into your home slowly introduce your preferred diet to minimise ❤💜🧡💚💙 getting an upset tummy.

Further info is under each photo and i will give some additional info when we do the handover.

Chewbaccas family visited on Sunday his Mum Samantha had abit of fun lining the pups up for some photos.

🧡 family bought over a blanket for us to put 🧡 scent on it. They will take the blanket home later this week and give it to their other dog Scruffy as a way of introducing the two dogs, before 🧡 heads to his forever home the following week.

I couldn't help myself and swaddled him in it just like a baby and gave him a very long sweet hug. He loved it so much i got a sweet little licks.

He then went and laid on the toilet, lucky i just cleaned it 🙉🤣

I have set the crate up for the puppies to get used to it.
❤💜 have really taken to it.

We have had a few knicknames for 💙 over the past six weeks. Big blue, Mr Independent and now Mr Cuddly. He likes the soft ball pit balls, he chews on them and chases them around.

💚 has been leading the way in grass pet potty toilet training (inside), he is doing a great job🙌💚

🧡 is also starting to pick it up now.

With the puppies being familiar with puppy pads, grass pet potty and lawn, hopefully they will pick toilet training up fairly easy at their forever homes.

The overnight 💩💩💩💩💩 mess is getting quite smelly.

The puppies are booked in for their 1st vaccination, microchipping and health check on Monday 25th March (7 weeks old)

2nd vaccination due - 4 weeks after 1st vaccination - 22nd April

3rd vaccination due - 4 weeks after 2nd vaccination - approx 20th May

4th vaccination due - 12months after 3rd vaccination

The puppies spent all day and evening out in the living area last Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday spending time with their forever families and our friends/family.

On Tuesday morning 🧡 insisted that he no longer wanted to be in the puppy room at all during the day and wants to permanently stay in the living area. Of course ❤💜💚💙 were more than happy with this idea also.

I was organised to further extend the puppy area but having them out in the living area caught me by surprise. We have dog/child gates in other parts of the house but we didn't have any success with them in the living area whilst Lexi was a puppy so we raided the garage and come up with some makeshift barriers, may not look the best but they work 👌

It just so happens that 🧡 knew best. Lexi no longer wants to spend alot of time in the puppy area but she loves being in the living area so the puppies get alot more time with Lexi and extra cuddles and attention from us. They still go in the puppy room at night.

What a weekend, all forever home puppy parents visited ❤️💜🧡💚💙 Plus we had other friends and family visit to meet the new additions to our household. These five puppies are very spoilt with loads of cuddles, love and attention. Busy but absolutely lovely few days. Puppies are five weeks old today.

The puppies don't need their biscuits rehydrated and blended anymore, i now just need to rehydrate to soften them. Today i mixed a little prime 100 puppy turkey loaf through for the first time, they absolutely LOVED IT!
They need a little reminder but they are getting more used to drinking water.
💙💚 ensured that almost every last drop was eaten and Lexi licked the bowls clean.

Lexi loves getting new toys. She still doesn't understand that it's her puppies turn to have some toys, we are constantly picking them up all day and placing them back in the puppies pen. She is being extra gentle with the toys though.

New collars, relaxing music, full bellies and playtime. Puppies are having a lovely Monday afternoon.

The puppies had a little taste of food last night but this is their first meal. New collars arriving today, the puppies fur has grown and is covering the collars.

🧡 trying to get ❤️ to play. The pups won't cooperate and look at the camera to show their gorgeous eyes.

My favourite video... so adorable.. The pups have all trippled their birth weight plus a little extra. 💙💚 have been alternating who is the heaviest, today 🧡 took the lead. Their eyes are half open. The belly crawling has turned to wobbly steps. The whelping box has a lower section for Lexi to enter/exit, the puppies have started attempting to escape, time to extend the height.
