The best part of visiting the store, even on our closed days? Getting to spend time with our beautiful animals!

We close our doors to the public only 4 days a year, but even then, our dedicated team ensures the store is cared for by coming in periodically for animal husbandry.

Today’s highlight? Our stunning female Jungle Python, who’s been a bit shy as she approaches a shed, was out in full basking glory. A truly special sight!

We know how important crickets are for your scaly friends, and we’re happy to report that our shelves are stocked with plenty of them!

Earlier this week, we received unexpected news that our usual supplier would no longer be producing tubs of crickets. While this was a sudden change, we acted quickly and secured a new supplier to ensure you wouldn’t miss out. Our first fresh delivery arrived within 24 hours—phew!

As part of this transition, we’ve had to make a slight adjustment to our pricing, effective immediately:

$8 per tub or 3 tubs for $22.

Now for the exciting part—you can now mix and match woodies and crickets! 🪳🦗🪳

Even our hatchling Murray River Short-Necked Turtles (SP. Emydura Macquarii Macquarii) get breakfast 😋 Our turtles are fed on the best of the best! At this age, Fish Fuel Co Baby Turtle 🍴🐢

We where up nice and early to feed our crew before opening the store…. As they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day 😅🌞😂 SUNDAY, MARCH 10TH: OPEN FROM 10am - 4pm

It was a scorcher of a day today! 🌞We are very jealous of all the humans (and blue tongues) that where able to take a dip to cool off. How chunky are our Shingleback (Sleepy Lizards!? In the warmer months our beauties are fed daily, with a rotation of meals that works out to be roughly 70% fruit and vegetables, and 30% insects, meat and Fish Fuel Co. Lizard. Today is blended meats and bugs. They think that’s a party 🥳 Ps. These are our private animals but with a smidge of lucky they’ll produce some lovely pets for the store soon.
