Something I’m passionate about and that’s getting the right match for my retirees.
There’s so much to life after racing. Thoroughbreds are the most wonderful breed, smart, fast learners and of course athletic.
I love getting updates on how they are going. Here’s a few recent retirees enjoying their next chapter, you might recognize a couple 🥰💕💕

Vale Nozi
Today we said our goodbyes to our greatest horse.
What a wonderful racehorse he was amassing over half a million in stakes earnings. Done the hard way, covering many thousands of km’s every preparation. He was never the easiest horse to ride and claimed more than his fair share of victims with his powerful buck. Getting the label of Naughty Nozi. Apart from that he was a kind horse and had the biggest heart I’ve known. His victories included
2006 Darwin Cup
Toyota Cup
Metric Mile
2 x Chief Ministers Cups
3 x St Patrick’s Broken Hill Cups
Oaklands Plate Listed (when trained by Richard Jolly)
71 starts 12 wins 12 seconds 9 thirds $ 507 320 in stake money
Laid to rest alongside his best mates of 14 years Bravely 2009 Kangaroo Island Cup, Lord Mayors Cup (at Clare) and Hawker Cup Winner and St Ives 2019 Kangaroo Island Cup and Squatters Cup winner.
I will be forever grateful for the wonderful care and love given to these beautiful boys in their retirement years from Debbie and Bruce Nulty. These horses were blessed to have such a magnificent life.
They sure are going to be missed.
I know when I hear the thunder rumble I will know it’s them up there galloping through the clouds.
