✨A stunning sneak peek for Emma and her family featuring Riley, their beloved 11-year-old Labradoodle! ✨

Emma, along with her family, joined the session with Riley’s fur brothers, Murphy and Spencer. There were so many incredible moments, but I couldn’t resist sharing this adorable one of Emma and her boy—you can truly see the love between them! 🐾 🥰

A super cute sneak peek for Molly & Lachy of our beach shoot with Bella the 4mo Cocker Spaniel. 🐾

Bella spent most of the session with her snoot (and ears) in the sand sniffing and smelling all the fun things at the beach.

Molly & Lachy haven't had her long but you can tell she's such an important member of the family already! 🥰

Science shows losing a dog is as hard as losing a human loved one — is there a difference?

With 62% of Americans owning pets, and nearly all considering them family, the grief of losing a pet is profound and often misunderstood.

Studies show that pet loss grief mirrors that of losing a spouse or partner, as people tend to use "we" language when discussing their beloved animals. Despite this emotional connection, pet grief is often dismissed, leaving many to suffer in silence.

Researchers have identified five key themes that impact how people cope: and recover the depth of the owner’s response, the complexity of euthanasia, the isolation caused by disenfranchised grief, the distress of ambiguous loss (such as when a pet runs away), and the coping mechanisms that help individuals process their sorrow.

People navigate their grief in various ways, from honoring their pet’s memory through keepsakes and rituals to seeking comfort in social support or spirituality. While grief is deeply personal, acknowledging the pain of pet loss and offering empathy can help people heal.

As Jon Stewart tearfully said about his late rescue dog, "He was ready. He was tired, but I wasn’t." This sentiment captures the lingering heartache that many experience, proving that the loss of a pet is far more than “just a dog” or “only a cat”—it’s the loss of a family member.

🐾 A gorgeous 15 minute morning session at the river with Sue and her two 5 Month old Boxers Billy & Alfie! ✨

Susan drove all the way to QLD with her husband last year to pick up Billy the Boxer!

What she didn't know at the time is that she would also fall in love with Alfie and ended up taking them BOTH home!

Billy & Alfie had an absolute ball staying up at the river and spent most of their days romping around with each other and getting up to a LOT of mischief!

Poor Alfie got stung by a wasp a couple days before and welted up like crazy!
He had some meds at the vet and soon his puffy little face went back down just in time for his photo session! 🥰

We had a fantastic start to our reshoot on Mount Osmond, capturing some truly beautiful moments of Melissa and her adorable fur family.

Later, we were greeted by strong winds and an overcast sky once again—but that didn’t stop us from making magic! 🌬️📸

✨A gorgeous sneak peek for Margaret of Daisy the 7yo Boxer. ✨

Margaret says "daisy's favourite colour is pink! She even had pink bandages when she was at the vet."

Daisy was such a sweet soul, and although she was a bit anxious being in a new place, you could tell that having her mum there made her feel safe. They have such a beautiful bond and I could tell how much Daisy meant to Margaret. 🐾🥰

🌲We had our session at the Magic Forest in Minkarra park, Happy Valley. Great for nervous dogs or dogs who like to be left alone. 🌲
