Leewood Burmese is in Adelaide South Australia. We specialise in the pastel colours, raising our kittens in our own home for superb temperament and type.

Our passion is for the O gene, producing creams, reds, and torties, our own pride of lions. I'm Michelle Hinder, and I have been breeding and showing beautiful Burmese cats for over ten years. I am an All Shorthair Judge with the Feline Association of SA. I am very active in the cat fancy in South Australia, and am very passionate about all cats. My cats are very successful show cats, and are beau

tiful house pets too. I raise my kittens in my home, as family members, and this assures that they will have an outgoing and friendly temperament when they join their new families. I attend all Feline Association of SA shows, and also attend the CCCA National Show each year with my cats. My stud boy GDCH Leewood Billy The Kid was Supreme Exhibit at the Royal Adelaide Show in 2014, and has many other Supreme in Show wins, as well as winning Kitten of the year. I am extremely proud of all of my cats. 🩷are you on our waiting list waiting for a female baby?

This is our beautiful Rosie, who was Burmese Kitten of the Year 2024 with the Feline Association of SA. Rosie is fourteen months old. She was desexed on Monday, and will be ready for her new life in about two weeks. Rosie is a cream Burmese.

Rosie lives inside with us. She’s the most adorable cat. She was to be a future queen with us, but it wasn’t to be unfortunately.

If you think she might suit your family, which ideally will have no other cats, though of course you could introduce a kitten later, please contact me via email.

She will be the pet of your dreams, she’s a purry and friendly little girl.

Rosie loves being a show cat, so if you are a cat show person, she would make a great show neuter. She was a very successful kitten this year, and is a Grand Champion after only a few adult shows. A show home isn’t necessary however.

We are located in SA, though she can be transported interstate, ideally, you would be an SA resident.

Change of venue for the CCCA National 2025

Please be aware that we have changed the venue.

The venue is better suited - better for public foot traffic, is air conditioned, bigger so no capping of exhibits.

Accomodation that we know people have booked is within an hours drive, and it’s fairly straightforward route.

Our beautiful Starla🌟 living in Japan now with her wonderful new family Capsule Cats, had her first Japanese CFA show a week ago. She was judged by Australian judge Pamela Lanigan! The Cat Show Girls, wonder if she recognised the Aussie accent?

🎉🌟🥂🩷NZCF Cat of the Year 2024 Awards are done, huge congratulations to Ross Townshend and Bronwyn Main on their smashing debut year with Freddie and Ginger.

The kids ended up with Ginger Best Cat, and Freddie 3rd Best Cat of the Year.

We are so proud of these kids, and so grateful to their owners for exhibiting them with such pride and care.

Sooky Baby (Leewood Daisy Duke) and Starry (Leewood Star Spangled) daughter, and mother.

These beautiful girls are some of my favourite cats. Sooky is Leewood Malibu Barbie’s litter sister. She has the most amazing ear set, eye shape and eye colour. Sooky was shown and still can be shown, her temperament is outstanding. She is a Grand Champion titled cat. She is a terrific size for a female, very robust and athletic.

She is a daughter of the stunning Bajimbi Creme Sensation who was with me for awhile before going home to his breeder Bambi.

I am considering allowing Sooky to go to another breeder. Only considering, and probably will change my mind. She’s so valuable to me, but I have her sister and mother, and I am seriously wanting to reduce my cattery.

She will be outrageously expensive as her pedigree and type dictates. If I didn’t have an enormous vet bill for my horse, I would not even think about this. Please don’t haggle as I will not budge.

I would prefer her to go overseas. If an Australian breeder is interested, I’ll be extremely fussy and she will have restrictions.

She has only had one litter, and is two and a half years old. Her litter was three male kittens of superb type.

Beautiful Peaches, she is definitely not mother of the year, and the time has come to find her a place to call her own.

We will be desexing her soon, and are inviting expressions of interest in her. She is four years old, has only had one litter of one baby, and is a highly titled show cat, achieving her CCCA CH title and winning many supreme in shows.

She will go as a pet, as she’s retired from the limelight now.

Peaches will need to go to a place with no other cats. She’s not used to dogs, so prefer only outside dogs if you have one.

Ideally, a mature person, perhaps a work from home person.

How beautiful is this little guy?!

Peaches’ little baby boy is four weeks old. He was an only child, and I’ve been hand feeding him all this time as her supply of milk dried up very early. I’m so proud that he made it this far. It was a difficult birth, and though she has no milk, she has a lot of love, and is taking good care of him otherwise.

🌟Royal Adelaide Show 2024🌟

Big updates after finals day on Sunday, but Friday was Burmese Day at the Royal, and our little Starla was the Judges Encouragement Award winner of the day! This is her last show with us before she goes to her new home. She’s been a wonderful fun kitten to show, and I’m sure she will make her new family very happy🩷
