As we welcome the New Year, the celebrations and fireworks can be an exciting time for us—but it can also be overwhelming for our pets. The good news? You can take steps to help your furry family members stay calm and secure. 💛

Here are some simple ways to support your pet through the noise:

🐾 Create their happy space: Think cozy blankets, a quiet room, or even a little hideaway where they feel safe.

🐾 Keep them close: Bringing pets indoors and spending time with them can work wonders. A familiar face and a calming presence make all the difference.

We’re Arby and Denny—two of the Kelpie pups saved by RSPCA. And guess what? We have the most exciting news EVER! We’re now ready to find our forever homes! Some of our brothers and sisters are also looking for families, but not all of us are on the website—so be sure to email the adoption team if you’re interested.

Now, before you get too excited, we need to chat about something important. We’re Kelpies, which means we’re not just adorable—we’re hardworking dogs with lots of energy and smarts. We need families who are willing to put in the time and effort to keep up with us, train us, and give us the mental and physical stimulation we need to thrive.

If you’re ready to commit to all the love and hard work we bring, we promise to be loyal, fun, and the best adventure buddies ever.

Every year, defenseless ducks like these babies are hunted, suffering a fate they cannot escape. This heartbreaking reality must end.

Even cricketing legend Jason Gillespie, "Dizzy," is standing up for them, calling duck shooting "cruel and unnecessary." He’s urging the Premier to ban this horrific practice:

"Duck shooting is cruel and unnecessary – why is this even allowed? I ask the honorable Premier Mr. Malinauskas to please consider banning this cruel activity."

This Christmas, Brian finds himself in the care of RSPCA SA through no fault of his own. 💔

This sweet boy has been living with a condition called entropion, where his eyelids roll inward, causing his eyelashes to irritate his eyes. Left untreated, it can even lead to vision loss.

This holiday season, will you be a Guardian Angel for an animal like Brian? Your loving donation will help Brian and other animals in need get the care they deserve. Together, we can make sure no animal has to suffer alone this Christmas.

Thankfully, our incredible team has helped Brian and undergone surgery to give him the relief he so desperately needed.
