Say hello to Willow, a super sweet kitty in search of a patient, loving home and someone just as lovely as she is.

Pet of the Week | $45 adoption fee | Tabby | Female | 1 year

This sweet and loyal lady is on the lookout for a calm, cosy home with just a few special humans to call her own.

Her perfect day? Soaking up the sun in a warm window, birdwatching like a pro, followed by a nap and a roast chicken treat (or a Dine creamy if you're really spoiling her!).

Willow is an independent girl who knows what she likes and that includes starting pats on her back, thank you very much. Once she trusts you, she’ll meow a little greeting and let you know when she’s ready for love. 💛

She might take a little time to warm up, but when she does? You’ve got yourself a best friend for life.

Got other pets? No worries! Chat to our care team about the best way to introduce them.

Come meet Willow at our O'Halloran Hill campus...she just might pick you. 🐾

Dayna and Bear’s story is one for the soul. 💛

After losing their two beloved cavalier sisters during COVID, Lorraine and Steve’s home felt painfully quiet. The moment restrictions lifted, they knew they needed a dog back in their lives and that's when they found Dayna.

Dayna was an unclaimed stray with a terrier’s spark and a heart full of mischief. Since joining their family in early 2021, she’s brought so much laughter and light, especially when she is standing tall in her best meerkat impersonation.

Then came Bear. 🐻

Bear arrived into their lives as a foster dog under protective custody, having survived animal cruelty. He was broken, quiet, and unsure. But with Dayna’s help, he slowly remembered how to trust. How to love. How to “dog” again.

Seven months later, there was no way they could say goodbye.

Bear officially joined the family as a “foster fail” in the best possible way. ❤️ Since then, he's overcome enormous hurdles, even coming off his seizure medication. Today, he’s thriving. Adventuring. Swimming. Smiling. Living.

Together, Dayna and Bear are the perfect duo who are mad for the beach, always up for a holiday, and full of joy.

And now? They’re both superstars, featured in our Perfectly Adoptable campaign 💙 The image in blue is from their photoshoot, and the other is them in their natural habitat: safe, loved, and totally comfy at home. It just goes to show the incredible impact adopted animals can have, not just on our lives, but on the world around them. 🌍🐾

Lorraine and Steve’s message to you?

"Adopt, don’t shop. Save a life — and you’ll enrich your own."

✨ Whether you're ready to open your heart to an animal in need or thinking about fostering, there’s a pet at RSPCA waiting just for you.

All this sweet man needs… is a home. 💔

And trust me — once you meet him, it’s game over. His coat? It’s like velvet. So soft. So snuggly. You won’t want to stop patting him — and he won’t want you to, either.

✨ Meet Zero, our Pet of the Week ✨

He’s got the best personality. Goofy, gentle, and oh-so-affectionate. He’s young, full of love, and happiest when he’s right by your side.

What’s his dream?

A couch to cuddle on. A human to follow around the house. All the toys in the world. And someone who’ll love him like he deserves. 🧸⚽

Zero’s the goodest boy, through and through. And right now, because he’s our Pet of the Week, his adoption fee is just $95.

Please — come meet him. He’s waiting, with the softest fur and the biggest heart.

These are the faces of the pups who suffered at the hands of Kerry Fitzpatrick — a convicted puppy farmer who chose profit over pain, again and again.

Yesterday, she was finally sent to jail.

We heard your outrage. So many of you are passionate about seeing justice served for animal cruelty offenders.

But there are so many mamas and babies who are still suffering in the name of profit, and they need you now.

In the past year alone, we’ve rescued 553 animals from large-scale cruelty cases, including low-welfare breeding operations and puppy farms.

Our small but relentless legal team has fought 37 court cases to seek justice for these voiceless animals.

Many arrive broken. Shaking. Sick. Shut down.

We work really hard to help them trust again one step at a time.

But we can’t do it without you.

💔Please make a loving donation today to help expose puppy farms, get justice in the courts and give mistreated dogs a second chance.

P.S The cycle of abuse for profit has finally been broken, and all the surviving dogs from this case now know love and safety in forever homes.

Breaking News - Kerry Fitzpatrick, a convicted puppy farmer, was sentenced today to 21 days in prison after breaching a court order that banned her from breeding animals (see images below).

Despite facing charges back in 2018 for keeping over 300 dogs in horrific conditions, and being banned from operating again, she chose to ignore the law and continue breeding.

When RSPCA Inspectors returned to her property, they found 86 more dogs. Mothers and puppies – living in squalor.

This wasn’t an accident. It was a deliberate decision to put profit over animal welfare.

🐾 Right now, animal cruelty penalties in SA are still too weak.
🐾 In some cases, those responsible for serious welfare breaches avoid significant consequences.
🐾 More and more South Australians want to see the Animal Welfare Act implemented.

They can’t speak up, but we can.

If you saw a duck suffering… would you help?

Every year, across South Australia’s wetlands, it happens again.

A sudden crack of gunfire. A native duck is shot. Not dead. Just wounded. Broken. In pain.

She flaps helplessly in the water, trying to keep her head up… trying to breathe. She was never a threat. Never dangerous. Just living her life.

But she’s been shot – for sport.

This cruelty has already been banned in Western Australia, New South Wales and Queensland. But here in South Australia? It’s still legal. Still happening. And it’s almost impossible to enforce.

Most South Australians agree – it’s time to end this. But now, we need to prove it.

To bring this issue before Parliament, we need 10,000 handwritten petition signatures by October 2025.

Yes, it must be handwritten. Yes, it takes a little effort. But for the ducks… it’s everything.

🖨️ Download and print the petition

🖊️ Collect a few signatures from friends, family, neighbours

📮 Post it back, or drop it into your local RSPCA Op Shop or Animal Care Campus

We know it’s not easy. But if enough of us take this small, meaningful action – we could finally stop the suffering.

For every duck who’s fallen silently… and every one who still might.

Please, be their voice.

There are just hours left to make your tax-deductible gift before the financial year ends and animals in crisis are still waiting for help.

Not long ago, we rescued more than 100 animals from one of the most heartbreaking cruelty cases we’ve seen. Matted fur so tight it cut into their skin. Eyes swollen shut. Infections left untreated for far too long.

Their pain was unimaginable.

Their rescue came just in time.

But tomorrow… it could be another emergency.

💔 We need you now more than ever.

Your $30 tax-time gift today can help provide urgent vet care for an animal in agony and help show them love for perhaps the first time in their life.

There’s still time to make a difference. But not much.

Please, if you’ve been waiting — don’t wait any longer.

Donate before midnight.

Sad stories can have happy endings 🥹

This was the case for the pups who we're seized during one of the worst cruelty cases we've ever seen.

The fact that they’re now curled up on warm beds with full bellies and finally knowing what love feels like… it’s all because of you.

Because someone like you, sitting at home, chose to care. Your kindness gave them the chance to heal, to feel safe, and to discover what a forever home really means.

This tax time, your gift can help the next Maisie waiting for rescue.

You can help turn pain into hope. Suffering into healing. And heartbreak into a new beginning.

👉 Make your tax-deductible donation before June 30: https://brnw.ch/21wTF8b

Because every animal deserves the chance these pups got.
