ADOPTIVE PET OF THE MONTH
Meow! Iām Bonnie Boy!
And I am October's Adoptive Pet of the Month!
A bit about me: I was only 4 hours old when I came to my foster mums place with my mum Hazel and my siblings.
We had a bit of a bumpy start with ringworm but we all got through that and then were ready for our forever homes.
One by one, I saw my siblings leave to go to their new families and my Mum, Hazel and I are the last 2 left waiting to be adopted.
I am shy at first but am getting much better with my social skills and do come to say hello.
I love to hang around and watch my family with so much love. When they approach I will roll around and ask for pats and snuggles too.
I am fairly independent and prefer a warm body at bed time.
I would love siblings as i enjoy playing with them and washing them if I can. I do this now with my Mum, Hazel. We are best buddies.
Please take a look at my photos and consider me as your next family member.
Love Bonnie Boy (or bun bun as foster mum calls me š„°)

ADOPTIVE PET OF THE MONTH!
Hanging with Hazel - just chilling on her throne enjoying the pats from her slave. šāā¬
Hazel came into care on July 2nd 2022! Can you believe she has been in the rescue for 14 months! She came to us in labour and gave birth to some gorgeous kittens - all of which found their families except for Bonnie Boy who is STILL looking for his and he will be our adoptive pet of the month for October if he isn't adoption beforehand.
Not long after coming into care, Hazel and her babies were diagnosed with ringworm. This took a long time to clear up but thankfully we got through it and eventually we were able to get her and the kittens vet work done and then they all became available for adoption. One by one, the kittens were adopted. Hazel however, was not.
Initially, Hazel was extremely shy around new people but as time goes by, she is becoming braver and allows new people to pat her. Hazel is quite affectionate with her foster Mum and enjoys time on the lounge with her foster Mum watching tv.
Hazel enjoys the company of other cats. She hasn't been tested with dogs and would be fine in a home with children. She would require an adjustment period to settle, so patience would be needed while she makes your home, her home.
Hazel has been available for adoption since November 2022 - almost 12 months! In that time, not a single person has come to meet her for adoption. It is well and truly time for Hazel to get the family she deserves! If you want to meet Hazel for adoption, please message the page.

Updated footage of OldMate last night after he came home from the vet. Bless him! He didn't deserve the life he has lived on the streets and her certainly doesn't deserve the terminal illness he has contracted!
OldMates vet bill yesterday came to just over $400. If you would like to contribute we would be extremely grateful!

We will get some updated photos of our OldMate tomorrow for you. Today he had a big day at the vet. He didn't have a very good day but we got the answers we need to help him. OldMate has FIV (cat aids). The good news is despite how dreadful he looks, the FIV hasn't taken hold and he could potentially live a long happy life! OldMates bloods came back with nothing really wrong except being slightly aenemic due to fleas and parasites. That should correct itself now that he has been parasite treated. OldMates coat was so severely matted that the vets have shaved him. He has also been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped today. He was given a course of antibiotics to treat his eyes. It sounds like a lot but all in all the vet was very happy with his overall health and he should be fine for quite awhile if he is kept up to date with his vaccinations, has a good diet etc etc. We got you OldMate! It is going to be OK!!
