We've finished our pet sitting in the Barossa Valley with two of the cutest cats we've cared for. They loved to be brushed and one night Billy got the brush off the coffee table and put it at John's feet!

We've moved to the south of Adelaide now, to care for a cute little dog.

two little lumps in the bed. the cats were very shy the first day or 2. slowly, they ventured out to eat and now Maggie greets us on the kitchen chair in the morning.

We're packing the car again today, ready for a house sit in the Barossa Valley with two little cats. Packing and unpacking the car is the only drawback of house sitting, but we are getting more efficient.

Only another 5 days or so and we're packing again. Unfortunately, we have to leave one of our favourite customers Dave the cavoodle! We're off to a tiny town in the Barossa Valley, to care for two shy little cats. When we went to meet them, they were hiding under the bed covers and didn't really want to meet us. Their owners said they would definitely come out when they get hungry!

Around this time last year we were pet sitters for Dave a gorgeous cavoodle. Dave liked us a lot so he asked his Mum and Dad if we could come back again this year. Of course we were very happy to keep him company again! He was sleeping on the bed at night time cuddled up to his owners before they went on holidays. Looking after cute little Ruby, the smallest dog we've cared for so far.

We have been dog sitting a very small dog Ruby and garden care for her mum and dad's big garden. Ruby is pretty laid back.

Little Ruby is still our main star for our current housesit. There's a big garden as well, but there's been so much rain there's not much to do outside except mow the lawn and water some pot plants under cover.

One afternoon John Van Zyl was dog sitting Jazzy. After her long walk with him along Dead Man’s Pass, she still had lots of energy. When they got home he said, “hey Jazzy, you’re still full of beans, let’s party with The Rolling Stones!?

She gave him one of those tilted head looks only Cats and Dogs can do, and jumped up onto the lounge. He put on a song called Paint It Black, and unbelievably, almost straight away, she’s singing along??

When she stopped singing he said, “ok let’s hit the dance floor.” Here’s what she did…

We recently completed a 4 month long house sit, looking after Phoebe, a beautiful cat who loved to talk just for the sake of talking. When she was out in the garden hiding under a bush and one of us walked past, Phoebe would miaow just to say hello. When she walked into a room, she would "say" a different kind of meow. We also had a fairly large garden to look after with lots of pot plants.

We were so grateful to be able to stay in one place for such a long time. As all fulltime house sitters would know, it's nice to stay in one place and to not have to pack the car frequently.

Only 10 more months and our new house should be built!
