Bear's family adopted him three months ago, and look at how well he's settled in to his furever home 😻💙

"Just a three-month update on Bear - he is still a very happy little boy, purring all the time and loves to play with his new big sister Alaska and she adores him too! He absolutely loves water and runs into the shower every morning to put his head under the tap as soon as its turned on, he is a character for sure. He also loves to keep me company on my desk when I work from home. He is also the litter tray inspector! Each time I clean it out he is always next to me watch what I do, and when I'm finished he jumps straight in for a dig! He gives lots of headbutts and nose kisses all the time, he is still a little impatient with food and dives straight in before I can finish 🤣 but he is the perfect little man ❤️"

We were all smiles when we received this Happy Home update for Griffin 💙

"It hasn't been a week yet but I think he is loving his new home. We have had some outings to Petstock and an outdoor cinema where he was very popular ❤️

He has met a cousin or two and plans to meet some new friends in the coming days. He has partaken in a water fight which was the most active we have seen him, he absolutely loves the water.

He is a delight, so gentle and caring, we are all in love. We love having Griffin in our family and I think he is loving it too!"

🥳 New Year, New Home - that's Franklin's motto! 🥳

Is your New Year's resolution to make new friends? Well, Franklin is ready to put himself out there and hopefully meet the one in 2025 😽

Franklin was a little unlucky in love last year 😿 He thought he'd met his purrfect match, but unfortunately fate had other plans and he found himself back on the market 💔

If, like Franklin, you had a messy dating life in 2024, why not give him a chance? He's cuddly, has pretty eyes, loves a night in on the couch with a good movie and he'll stay by your side no matter what 2025 throws at you 😻

It's New Year's Eve tonight, which means plenty of us will be celebrating the end of 2024 - but it also means fireworks 🎆

A lot of pets will experience anxiety when they hear fireworks, and some of them may end up escaping your property while trying to find a place to hide 😢

It's important to plan ahead to make sure your pets don't get too anxious when the fireworks start. It's also a good idea to prepare for the worst case scenario, so please ensure their microchip details are up to date and they are wearing an ID tag on their collar so if they do go missing, they can be easily identified and returned to you.

POV: You adopt a rescue cat and realise how happy he is to be home 🥺

We received this heartwarming update from Rodger's family, who found their purrfect match 💙

"I wanted to reach out and express our heartfelt gratitude for giving us the opportunity to adopt Rodger. When we first met him, he seemed a bit guarded, growling and avoiding pets, and we knew it might take time for him to open up. But to our surprise and delight, his true affectionate nature emerged much sooner than expected. Within just 24 hours of bringing him home, Rodger began to show us just how much love he has to give. He now enjoys being petted, lets us groom him without hesitation and has developed a huge fondness for cuddling. He even sleeps with us, relishing in cuddles and affection at night. He truly is a beautiful soul and has quickly become an invaluable addition to our family. What’s even more incredible is his bond with our other rescue cat, a female who has taken quite a liking to him. They’re inseparable—following each other around, eating together, sleeping side by side, and even visiting the litter box as a duo! Watching them grow so close has been a wonderful blessing, and each day we feel even more grateful for Rodger’s loving personality. Thank you, Animal Welfare League, for trusting us with Rodger and for the life-changing work you do to connect animals with loving homes. We’re beyond grateful to have him as part of our family."
