I'm Gillian and I began this little hobby business, initially making toys and leads for my fellow competitors in the dog sport of agility. Over the years I've now reached a wider audience and just recently added snuffle mats and balls to my product range to further enrich your dogs lives. There’s a lot of puppies out there at the moment waiting to go to new homes 🐶

And some of them are lucky to be receiving a fleece mop teaser to get those little teeth into and get their game on. Look at all those pretty colours 🌈

In case you’re worried about your dog suffering from FOMO, remember I’ll also have some toys at the Albany dog trials this coming weekend - including a fleece mop teaser.

Another product feature - the fleece mop teaser.

And here it is modelled by the lovely youngster Bonnie owned by Frances of Follow My Lead Albany. Bonnie has had this toy since puppyhood and as you can see, still enjoys it as an adult.

The fleece mop teaser is particularly good for puppies and dogs that are reluctant to play and tug. All those mop pieces give them plenty of options to chase and grab onto. These fleece mop teasers can also be made onto a bungee handle for a bit of extra bounce 🙂

I’ve been a bit absent from Facebook of late but I thought I would start a series of posts highlighting my products with dogs who are using them 🐕

First up is the lovely Leía, owned by Jason Crowley, who’s enjoying the stretchy fleece tug with a bungee handle 🙂. Bungee handles are great for reducing the stress on yourself when playing tug with your dog and can be added to a variety of Wild Hair products.

Do you have a Wild Hair toy that looks a bit like this - with something attached to it? Be it a holee roller, a moo udder, a breathe easy ball or something else 🎾

And has this attachment survived but the fleece is all torn?

Well did you know, if you get the attachment back to me I can add some new fleece for a reduced price compared to a new toy?

It’ll be like getting a brand new toy- but cheaper 🙂.

With the Albany dog trials coming up, I’ve worked away into the wee hours to have some stock on hand for those who forgot to get their dog a new toy 😜

And if you’re not coming to Albany but see something you like, perhaps someone can collect for you to save you postage (and maybe their dog will let you have it 🐕😝).

BLAH BLAH BLAH 📣 - NEW TOY ALERT.

I’ve been busy creating away in the background, making snuffle mats and snuffle balls and X toys for Every Day Dogs and also making custom toys.

And now I’ve finally got around to making something with these balls I bought a while ago. They are Chuckit Breathe Right balls. They’re squishy and not too heavy but with an attachment, heavy enough to throw with some accuracy- depending on your skills 😆.

I have limited stock of these as I gauge interest so get in quick if you want to be a trendsetter 🙂

Sniffle, snuffle, sniffle, snuffle 😝

You may have seen snuffle mats on my page (or even elsewhere) and wondered what’s the point.

So pictured below are just 3 (of more) uses of a snuffle mat. There’s the handsome Moorditj using a mini one as a training aid, little Cloud using one for a boredom buster while confined to a crate after an injury (although I think he’s waiting for a refill 😆), and then wise old Jeda who is 16 years old, blind and deaf, but can still enjoy some enrichment using his nose.

Do you want your dog to be an X Dog (an off shoot of the X Men perhaps 😆)? Then I have the toy for you.

I’ve been a bit quiet on Facebook of late but I’ve been creating a rainbow of colourful a leads, toys and snuffle mats in the background 🌈. I have amazing supporters of my products and these latest creations are all going to repeat customers.

The leads are in South Australia and Donna from Every Day Dogs continues to educate her clients in the benefits of snuffle mats and play. In facts, all the X’s are off to puppies in her puppy program. There’s skinny X’s for puppies and small dogs and thicker X’s for bigger dogs. The benefit of an X toy is that it gives options for the dog to grab, and tassels to tease as well.

I’ve said before that my leads might have magical powers - and here’s further proof 😝. Here’s the lovely Macey wearing one of my leads and it seems to have opened up a portal to some magical land 😆😆

Do you want me to know your waist size? 😝. Well have I got a deal for you.

Lately I have been making some shorter leads - to the waist measurements of the owner - not because I’m nosey, but because the owners want to be able to run agility with the lead around their middle. And I think I’ve had success at getting the size right.

With Nationals coming up, with the ruling that the lead must stay on you, these leads are the perfect way to have something pretty and still follow the rules.

There’s not much time until the Nationals so if you’d like a special ‘waist’ lead, make contact soon 🙂

Since I make dog toys, I’m all about playing with your dog, but Chook’s owner seems to have taken a different direction - as an impromptu post for a game of quoits 😆

Chook here is sporting an extra strong ring toy, made in a size appropriate for those deadly jaws 😝

I make a variety of ring toys - and can add a moo udder thing too. Ring toys are great for keeping hands away from snapping jaws. Check out my product range album for examples of rings and all other toys too.
