THE STUBBS TRAIN 🚂 ROLL ON CONTINUES!
It was a welcomed result for BOY FROM TENNESSEE over the weekend as he toughed it out down the home straight. The Anderson - Stubbs combo is well documented and Nick Heywood ensured there was enough juice in the tank as the winning post loomed.
Congratulations 🙌

2 RUNNERS AND RON TAKES THE LOT💰!
It was a welcomed return to the races for Ron Stubbs Racing at Corowa and it was a clean sheet as we went 1-2.
SPACE ACADEMY & MAJESTIC DEEL have been building nicely in the early stages of their respective careers, but it was the favourite SPACE ACADEMY who showcased a superior turn of foot. Although a little wayward when the accelerator was pushed, Josh Richards backed himself to clear the field and it was a memorable maiden win. MAJESTIC DEEL will be saved for another day and the stable takes the lot with $21,300 collected from their 2 runners in the first.
Congratulations Mr M A Carlile

BRIAL ROSE🌹KICKS CLEAR AT GUNDAGAI!
The Ron Stubbs Racing Train 🚂 keeps rolling in 2024-25 and it was BRIAL ROSE again defying the challengers. She kicked clear at the final bend and it was a well rated ride by Josh who ensured she found the post. We couldn’t be happier for connections who are enjoying the early 4-2:1:1 record.
Congratulations To All Involved

MER CHAR DOMINANT ON DEBUT!
It was a professional debut performance as MER CHAR iced the cake for our end of season celebrations. The son of Merchant Navy has been patiently prepared and he let down with a customary Stubbs trained horse at Albury. 1-1:0:0 ✅
Great ride Jake Duffy.
Congratulations Mr C Lee

Stubbs' Late Bloomer Cooee Out To Make Noise (Albury Monday)
www.racingnsw.com.au
By Graeme White
Unbeaten five-year-old Cooee was a late bloomer to racing, but he is making up for lost time as he chases three straight victories in the North Albury Tyrepower Benchmark 58 (1500m) at Albury on Monday.
Cooee, who is extremely well named being by Group 1 winner Holler whose own dam was named Shouts, has won at Albury over 1175 and 1400 metres and steps it up in distance by another 1000 metres.
Raced by the Tobin family, Cooee has a big weight of 62.5 kilograms with regular jockey Matthew Cahill in charge for trainer Ron Stubbs.
The Albury based trainer will close out the final month of the racing season with some high percentage figures and has some talented troops in his stable heading into the latter part of 2024.
Stubbs has prepared 16 winners and 21.5 placegetters from 66 starters in country NSW with 12 winners from his past 50 starts in recent months.
Cooee has a bit to go to match some of the best horses in his stable, but he is heading in the right direction and is untapped at this stage of his career.
Stubbs has classy gallopers Sparring, Bianco Vilano, Baledon, Tap N’ Run, Rumours Abound, Magmetric and Prophet’s Daughter all capable of winning in better class.
Cooee looks to have enough ability to head in the same direction and if he can measure up again on Monday there will be a midweek metropolitan race not too far off.
It’s not an easy task for Cooee who comes up against some handy types who are racing consistently and present a major challenge.
One of those is last start winner Oimbari who was successful at Corowa last Monday at only her third start.
Her trainer Craig Weeding has accepted with five horses but is unlikely to start them all with the track condition to determine what also races at the Narrandera Cup meeting on Sunday.
Weeding has the defending champion Prince Of Helena lining up again in what is shaping as a quality $60,000 race
HE'S BACK!!!!
The team labelled today D-Day and what a response we had from MAGMETRIC in the last at Albury. The lightly raced 6YO gelding has a bag full of tricks and with Jason Lyon taking the steer we were confident along way from home.
A big thank you to his breeder Jim Anderson who persevered with Magmetric and got the right treatment. He was spot on with getting the specialist veterinarian investigation and we were able to race him on.
The next in line is the patient owners (Mrs P U Stubbs, Mr J A Anderson, Mrs J M Anderson, SKOL Racing, Lucky Dog Racing, Mr S J W Wheeler, Mrs S Hague, Mr B Campbell, Mr S Dent, ♠️OTL Asymmetric, Ms M Mclaughlin, Mr M J Payne) who have dealt with the set backs and continue to support the horse. Enjoy the celebrations and we hopefully have plenty more to come in the future.

Enjoy spinning a couple of laps with our 2YO Colt SARGEANT STAN (Magnus x Whitney) who is affectionately known as Rex. He is being ridden by Abby Stubbs who is wearing the white sleeves.

Winner - Rumours Abound
A PROVINCIAL WIN FOR RUMOURS ABOUND!
It’s safe to say she is slick, and the stable have unlocked another short course specialist in RUMOURS ABOUND. Jason Lyon put her right where she needed to be and when the pressure was applied the Press Statement mare let rip. It was a high quality finish as the 2 fancied runners paired off but today was our day.
The step up to provincial grade is never an easy one but when you have the tenacity and heart to win it can be an easy watch.

THE RUMOUR IS SHE’S PRETTY GOOD!
“A booming finish 51.78 🔥”
It’s was a demolition job in the last as RUMOURS ABOUND unleashed a finish to remember in the BM58 Hcp (900m). A wide draw and big weight posed no issue as Jason Lyon got the job done with a very classy mare.
Congratulations To All Involved.
