Poor Eddie came into our practice presenting as a blocked cat. Blocked cats can have crystals form in their urine, causing a blockage. To fix this, we anaesthetise them and place a urinary catheter.
After anaesthetising Eddie and investigating further, we found a grass seed that was causing the blockage!!! Good thing for Eddie, once the grass seed was removed, his problem was fixed.
🤗 Eddie is well on the mend now and will hopefully stay away from grass seed.

Is your rabbit protected against the lethal Calicivirus? Contact our clinic to book for the next rabbit vaccination day this Wednesday at our Wodonga clinic with Dr. Nadine. Every rabbit receives a thorough health and dental check...and a treat of course 🐰💕

This little cutie is Crash, an Eastern Grey kangaroo joey aptly named as his mum sadly lost her life when hit by a car. He has survived terrible diarrhoea and dehydration thanks to the amazing team in WIRES. Such super dedicated volunteers are so special. These little guys require around the clock care and when they are unwell the demands get even tougher. Thank you WIRES for helping ensure a future for our Australian native fauna 🙏

As rabbits poop 300 pellets a day- Dr. Nadine wishes her two house buns did this 🤣!
