As the temperatures rises, it’s important to keep our pets safe from the dangers of hot weather. Pets can suffer from heatstroke just like humans, and it can happen quickly! ☀️

🐾 Signs of heatstroke in pets include:
- Excessive panting or difficulty breathing
- Drooling or thick saliva
- Lethargy or weakness
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Bright red or pale gums
- Uncoordinated movement or collapse

🐾 What you can do:
- Always provide fresh water and shade.
- Avoid walks during the hottest parts of the day.
- Never leave your pet in a parked car (even for a few minutes!).
- Use cooling mats or fans to help keep them cool.
- If you are at home, bring your pets inside under the air conditioning or fans.

If you notice any of the symptoms above, immediately move your pet to a cooler place and contact the clinic on 02 6046 9846 📞

Meet Janine from Muscles and More!

Janine offers myotherapy to dogs of all ages, shapes and sizes! We often refer our orthopaedic surgery patients, as well as our patients that struggle with osteoarthritis or mobility issues to Janine.

What is myotherapy you may ask?
Myotherapy focuses on the soft tissues of the body, using techniques like massage, stretching, and trigger point therapy to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and enhance overall mobility.

Regular sessions can make a significant difference, helping to manage arthritis symptoms and maintain a better quality of life.

If your furry friend is struggling with arthritis or mobility issues, consider giving myotherapy a try. It could be the key to helping them stay active and happy!
