Hello Tail Travellers! 8 days into January and the revelry of Christmas and New Year's is over. At least we'll have our memories to sustain us until it all comes around again. Three Sleeps Until Christmas Tail Travellers! Meet blonde bombshells, Honey and Ace. They flew from Perth to Darwin last week where they met up with their dad for a road trip to Brisbane. Honey and Ace are frequent flyers, flying between Perth and Darwin three or four times a year. Each has a PP70 crate perfect for their weight and measurements. If you are sourcing your own crates make sure that they are Airline- approved. If in doubt, check the Qantas website or ask any member of the Tail Travel Team.

Warmest Christmas Wishes Tail Travellers! We are lucky to work in an industry in which we get to meet so many responsible, pet and animal owners and breeders. Last Thursday, I spoke to Michael, from Rogue Ink Tattoo Studio, a delightful human. Unfortunately, he was calling us to check if the person he was buying from was reputable, there are many unscrupulous people out there. Luckily for Michael, we could assure him that we had arranged freight many times for his sender before and assure him of their legitimacy. If in doubt, please call. If we can help or reassure you we will. Michael sent me these fabulous photos of some of his reptiles to share with you. They are gorgeous!

Well hello, kitty! Meet Simba, a well travelled feline of eighteen years who travels with his dad Chris every year. Simba finished packing early in preparation for his upcoming flight from Sydney to Hobart. Tail Travel was delighted to receive a copy of Simba's fit-to-fly letter from his vet. All animals, 12 years of age or older require a current fit-to-fly letter. All brachycephalic animals require a BOAS fit-to-fly certificate no matter their age. Good afternoon, Tail Travellers. This gorgeous lady is Lilly the pug. Travelling from Launceston to Melbourne last week, Lily spent a night tormenting Justice the Aussie Bulldog at Anthony's house before catching a flight from Melbourne to Mackay via Brisbane the next day. Here she is enjoying a cuddle with Tracey from Qantas just before lodgement in Melbourne. As a brachycephalic breed, Lilly needed to pass a BOAS test administered by her vet and be deemed fit-to-fly. She passed with flying colours. Brachys must also have Tail Travel staff present at lodgement and collection for both Qantas and Virgin Airlines. Our number one priority is the welfare of your pet while travelling. Enjoy your day!

Teddy is a lovely little Dachshund puppy who flew all the way from Alice Springs to Perth via Adelaide this week. Adelaide was almost too hot to handle, so the lovely Trudy took him for a trip to Bunnings for an airconditioned comfort stop between flights. Teddy lapped up a ton of love and attention before boarding his flight to Perth. Happy Holidays Tail Travellers!

Good morning Tail Travellers. We'd like you to meet the magnificent Marvin who had a grand Tail Travel adventure recently. He began his journey when Chloe from Northern Leontix Boerboels https://www.facebook.com/northernleontixboerboels, lodged him on a Virgin flight from Darwin to Brisbane. In Brisbane, he was collected by Ainslie, one of our terrific agents, and taken home to enjoy an evening running amok in Ainslie's home before hopping his Qantas flight to Mackay. Almost weighing a whopping 25kg at just three months of age, Marvin needed a PP60! He's going to be a big boy. Marvin joins Marlenés pack which includes rottweilers and a wolf-dog.
