Hold your doggos tight...

A fellow AHT lover and breeder lost her everything today in the Texas fires.

When a dog dies, it's hard to describe the multitude of emotions you have. Missing a wet snout in your palm, the lack of unabashed joy when you walk in the door, hearing the faint strains of co-mingling happy barks and children's laughter from previous memories...what can a few words do?
I am physically sick at the thought of what this family is going through right now.

Minkymu had a bit of a s**t year in 2023 with losing our beloved problem child late in the year to Linear Foreign Body 😭 and myself finding out i have very painful Osteoarthritis 😕

But in the show ring we had great success with Miss Mabel.
Mu achieved her Championship Title and did it in style getting a Runner Up in Show! A very proud mumma moment 😍
She also passed her first qualifier for Trick Titles.

Mu is my first show dog and I'm so proud of what we've achieved so far given out isolationin the middle of Australia. We couldn't have done it without the help of our handler friends Laura and Ashleigh who have stepped up to show her when my arthritis has rendered my legs useless. We love you xx

No 1 American Hairless Terrier- Breed Challenge NT (OK, she's the only one in NT but after a RUBIS we'll brag about it)

We also added a new member to Minkymu, the ever naughty terrorist Hazel. She'll start her show career this year and no doubt keep everyone on their toes!

The extreme heat is making plans a little more difficult than anticipated, but we are hoping to have our first Minkymu litter in 2024.

So keep your eyes peeled for exciting things to come in 2024
