We have been looking after our patients as Coast and Valleys Veterinary Hospital for the last 6 years, but Keith has been looking after Central Coast Patients since 1988! We outgrew our lovely cottage at The Old Milk Factory and in July opened our new purpose built Hospital facility in Alison. We are all very happy to be working in a 1st class facility where we can provide our same high standard o

f care for your animals, with a lot more room and improved facilities. Apart from all the surgeries we've already been doing; Ovariohysterectomies, Castrations, Orthopaedics, Abdominal Surgery, Trauma Surgery, our new place has expanded surgical facilities and has allowed us to bring in an outside specialist for more involved procedures, like our first Hip Replacement surgery last week! But, most importantly, even in our big new place, our staff will always care for your pet just like it's their own! We hope you enjoy being here as much as we do!

Keep an eye out for common signs of skin allergies in your cats and dogs, like excessive scratching, red or inflamed skin, hair loss, hot spots, and ear infections. Spring is finally near and as we transition out of the cold winter months, it's essential to ensure our furry friends are ready to embrace the change.

💦 Spring clean their fur with a nice lukewarm bath and dog-friendly shampoo.
🎀 Brush your pet's coat regularly to help remove loose hair from their winter coat,
prevent matting, and keep their fur healthy and shiny.
✨ Clean their ears, trim their nails and check their paw pads for dry spots or fur that might need to be trimmed.
🪲Keep up-to-date with flea and tick protection.

Our Advanced Equine Dentistry involves a general health check, a thorough oral examination to assess for pathology, sedation, a dental float (removing sharp points), and remedial adjustments if necessary.

❄️ Winter can be tough on pets, especially older ones. If your pet is finding it harder to get out of bed or they’re showing signs of discomfort or stiffness this Winter, we’re here to help.

Look out for these signs:
- Reluctance to jump into the car, up onto furniture or climb stairs.
- Lowering down slowly to lie down then falling in a heap.
- Slow to get up and walk.
- Slowing down or refusing to continue on long walks.
- Crying or whining during movement.
