Allora Grain & Milling Wild Bird Mix is appropriate to be fed to King Parrots, Rosellas, Galahs, Cockatoos and all other wild birds with the exception of hatchlings.

Ensure the birds have access to clean water at all times.

Provide green leafy lettuce or grass leaves as a minimum of once a week.

Protein is essential for chickens because it supports growth, feather development, egg production, and overall health. Here's why it's so important:

🧬 1. Growth and Development
Chicks and young birds need high protein (18–20%) to build muscles, organs, and bones.

Without enough protein, they grow slowly and are more prone to illness.

🪶 2. Feather Formation
Feathers are made mostly of keratin, a protein.

During molting (when chickens shed and regrow feathers), their protein needs increase significantly.

Lack of protein can lead to ragged, patchy feathers and prolonged molts.

🥚 3. Egg Production
Eggs are rich in protein, especially the whites (albumen).
